Yep, yep, I'm the vig. lol. On Day 2, I was trying 2 things. (1) I was frustrated we hadn't completed the thunderdome, and thought I might be able to legitimately frighten some scum, or whomever, to move their votes and end it so we didn't have to deal with a giant death spider. So, that's why I blatantly asked who a vig should hypothetically shoot. (2) I was hoping to bait a kill on myself if scum thought I genuinely had another shot left, which I do not. I'm kind of useless power-wise now. It didn't work, but thankfully (surprisingly?) no one poked me about that on Day 3.

Now for the kicker. Scum might have tried to kill you last night....I spent my 2000 on the pelt of perception. It did not do what I expected at all----it let me choose two players, and ANY action committed against one overnight would happen to the other AND vice-versa. I chose you and Sawneeks. (I'm not sure if it would redirect a strong kill or whatever...probably not). It was a huge gamble to guess who might be NK, and then try to put it on someone else I was suspicious of. I chose Sawneeks. So, it would be hilarious if they tried to kill you last night, and killed one of their own. Doubtful, maybe? We'll see.

Did you notice when I switched and moved you to townreads? I tried not to make a big deal out of it - figured you were baiting but also surprised no one else really said anything about it. I did try to bait the kill yesterday. I am MOST certain you are town now that you've confirmed but I said something about being able to stop a kill and I very much cannot - I'm vanilla. God, I hope we mindmelded, though RIP Sneeks if so.

So, a large part of yesterday was MrHedin. How are you feeling about him? Still suspicious? If MrHedin is town, then surely scum would have had at least a vote or two there in order to try and move pressure away from Funky Dude Sparks. And I can't help but feel suspicious about someone who voted MrHedin or elsewhere after Funky Dude Spark's claim, like Vere and Launch.

Yeah, I think Vere and Launch are both in my PoE. Launch is big on following others' cases this game instead of making his own and that seems not-great. I also don't feel great about donna after votes, honestly? But I'm not really sure how much it means.

Agreed. I understood the logic they were pushing....I just didn't agree with it in the situation we were in. I'm really bad at understanding what is bad play vs scum manipulation. In this scenario though, my gut leans towards the latter.

Mine too. Everyone knows the Sparks vote is messed up anyway and with that claim on the table, all the votes are artificial. It's foolish. Especially from someone who already "oopsed" and took money.

Yes, I would have thought Sneeks was a very suspicious death but jumping to a redirect is questionable. However, Kyan did have the hoodie, Sparks was a nexus... maybe?? I don't know. New players sometimes do unexpected shit. I'm curious what else gets said about it. Let's see how it develops.

Going back through my thought process, I had to pick someone to pair with you that (1) I was at least a little suspicious of and (2) wasn't a likely NK so that I didn't accidentally direct a kill towards you since end goal was to keep you alive.

Way too much WIFOM to determine if scum would bring up the misdirect or not. I could see it both ways.

I think I feel better about Hedin after yesterday. He was clearly a counterwagon and Sparks was an inevitable day kill. But the tiniest part of me says that Sparks was SO inevitable then they could push scum but I don't think that's it, not since Sneeks flipped town.

Rac not even bothering to ask Fanto if they still have the item is VERY interesting. I cannot read that as anything other than scummy IF Rac isn't lying. I'm hoping he's simply lying and holding back to reveal something. If not, I cannot wrap my head around why he wouldn't at minimum check that he still has the item. There is something fishy going on here that I can't wrap my head around.

In keeping with your idea of items/roles being spread out, and making the choice difficult for scum at night, I think it should go to someone town read who isn't a high-priority for town to kill at night. I always feel awkward pointing at myself, but....I'm surely not much of a threat to scum....?
