Damn that's really how it be huh. Town really pegged me as one of the worst scum players in existence apparently. Defending a scummate when they're -3 AND even after they get turbo'd for lying. The first one would have already been pretty bad, but I'd be full unga bunga to defend a scummate after they were outted then lynched for it.

After Risk, Love Boat 3, and HvV you'd think y'all would know by now I'm not remotely that sloppy as scum smh. I guess I can take solace in the fact that we got a second scum out of it. Hopefully come HvV3 I can be more active again and follow along properly lol.

Every time I've checked in on this game something hilarious has been happening lol.

Ok, let's see how D1 is going... Oh, Zeke shot Monkey in what was perhaps the most blatantly anti-Town act that I've ever witnessed in a Mafia game! And now he's posting crying cat pictures to try to garner sympathy? Oh my, Zeke is 100% Scum, a Town Zeke would completely own the shot and take full responsibility for it, not minding at all if Town wanted to kill him for doing it lol.

Ok, so now how's D2 going? Oh my god, Stan has a gun! I'll have to check in later to see who he shoots. Terra? He shot Terra of all people? But... why? Wait, what's this? Parity Cops? Fran is Scum?? Holy shit!

So yeah, I figured it would be best if I joined Spec so I can hang out with all of you while we react to this wild game lol.

Kyan as target makes more sense than loki as target, no offense loki. But kyan didn’t revise his target after fran’s death, fran was really pushing the loki-as-kill thing in a way that cleared her pretty well lol.

It's why I was trying to fish for how the role worked. If they have a cop check or can just kill w/o worry. also was hoping you came forward with it and that would allow me to stay alive another day possibly.

Hey everyone I'm dead and I'm happy :D :D :D Kyan may have gotten me killed with my very own role but I'm just happy he has it and used it like it was intended (somewhat... kind of wish he had picked a major scum read but I guess that was me >>)

I really didn't intend to get to so scum read this game but hey it happened because of my new playing style so oh well.

Scum can't create a role that hurt town and really get away in the long run. So, scum is also forced to create roles that hurt themselves to not raise red flags in the future.

But it was fun. I had a lot of fun creating my role and I was able to use some ideas that I had for some time that never used (tomorrow modifier will be a lot of fun) but, as Greed Island, this kind of games needs something else so they are at least competitive.

I agree. The power I received felt like it was intended as a counter to godfather checks but I heavily doubted any godfathers would exist in the game at all.

Additionally I'm really glad Scum didn't get the role I received because it based on what I assumed would work like a strong man shot since I make actions happen twice. The first shot hits the protection, and then the second kills them. But I may have been wrong about that.

I was townreading Vere after yesterday (sorry Vere :<) so I used my power on him, we'll see if my power really did work or not >>;

I think the trouble was after zeke shot monkey so early it really limited discussion and anything new coming up so all we had to go on was like peoples reaction to zeke shooting monkey. That's the only reason you got tarnished with the scum brush.

Oh yeah totally. XD I really was debating whether Zeke was scum or not for most of that day phase because of the previous game.

I had a serious Wifom moment where i thought he saw me mention scooby doo and did the shot on purpose thinking I'd not think he was scum this time or some shit.

Either way if I had gotten any heat later I would have brought up my theory about scummies getting to each make a power of a different fighting type and point out that I made a redirect power which is the same type Zeke made. lol.

Not sure if it'd have helped but I would have tried at least.

In many ways tho I'm glad I'm out because my scum reads were all wrong this game. I did have a gut scummy feeling about Fran, but couldn't explain it, so I gave him a pass lol.

Also I was probably going to be scum reading Launch more this day phase, because I kept feeling like something was off about him so RIP there if he is in fact scum.

I still think Turm and Nin are scum but launch is also a pretty big question mark.

Only posted 1 of them! I was worried a really creative scum player made that role to detect the doctor through the codewords so I didn't want to call attention to myself with them. The day 1 phrase I tried to work in somewhere but it never fit in a natural way that wouldn't look suspect.

The only one I posted was the N2 protection and it was directed at Hawthorn lol. It's here

I thought my role was pretty basic even though I was happy with it.

Speaking of when your second shot had failed Zeke I thought Kyan had tanked it with his BP that i gave him (because I legit he thought he had my role when the shot failed) and he claimed your shot was one shot to get you lunched.

It was in fact the original reason i was suspicious of kyan, until I read that you could only shoot once a day.

So LP made my role... I feel uhhh mixed on that. I have been debating all game whether my role was made by town or scum and the flavor Belo Betty tells me nothing flavor wise.

As I said above, my role could be used like a strongman shot if I had boosted a killing power and they targeted someone being protected.

It also works pretty good as a counter to stuff like Godfather shots, but I honestly doubted there were any in the game.

Either way I'm glad I wasn't planning on using my shot night 1 since I didn't have enough info on what night powers peeps had (i preferred not using it unless I was positive the person I targeted was town) since 5 people Roleblocked me.

TBF, that wasnt originally in my pm. I talk about it in post 109 in this thread. I didnt know my flip would say the "once per day" part.

I knew before I went down that path i could only shoot once per day though.

Could have been worse, but man it sucks.

Wow, so sorry!

When I was younger, I was the manager of a small store that was operating in a tiny mall. For the longest time the store was next to an empty, unrented space. One day, three guys broke into this empty space to hide and waited for the stores and the mall to close. With some tools they made a large hole in the wall to access my store. Fortunately, they somehow got startled by the alarm that got triggered as soon as they began moving inside the store and couldn't steal much.

Your story suddenly reminded me of this thing. It's eerily similar.

Yeah robbers always pull this kind of stuff, you'll think only crazy people will try something like that, but nope, it happens.

I don't feel that bad about it, I usually don't get stuff like this get to me, it's just, like, a lot of work.

Thankfully I have had the mafia game to distract me, I still keep up in the moments I can get a breath and probably will be able to retake the reigns tomorrow morning once I deal with the giant hole.
