I'm fine with that. I think it's almost certain that VA will give a key to Alexem and I don't know what other roles we need to keep an eye out for.

I assume Fate is the roleblocker we could have detected with LPs power, which means Zeke/Sparks could be anything.

I feel like a town cop checker investigates HP tonight, but then I'll have to defend him if he's up for a vote. Could always spin it as a scum cop.

For will targets, I could target VA again to see if he mentioned anything in his will about the "additional secret" of his ability. Or I could go for one of my other town reads like HP or even LP. Sparks and Zeke are the only two players who have abilities we don't know about so they would probably be the best options if we wanted to try to set up a fake will, as they should be the only 2 townies that are still not sharing everything with town.

Maybe this is a better fake claim: role checker, but I misread and thought I could check for a different role every night, not that I'm locked in after N1. So as a result I checked VA for roleblocker (usually a scum role) and got a negative, then realized I couldn't keep changing. Checked... Maybe Saw N2? Will check ATP N3 just to see if he was actually vanilla.

VA could be interesting. It really depends on what Sparks and Zekes roles are how useful giving a will to them would be. If we want to go with the fake will, we'll have to do it soonish, since the game may not last that much longer. Between Sparks and Zeke, I think Zeke has a higher chance of becoming Town read and needing elimination, so he might be the better target for now.

I have to say, this night phase was quite relaxing for a change, not having to worry about a night kill target and the possible shenanigans involved in that.

Given that we haven't seen anyone coming forward with a check before, I assume this has something to do with Blargs power. Maybe anyone that visits him gets that "Blargonaut is town" message.

Hm, interesting. Might be sparks power too? No one visiting blarg makes me wonder if it's a delayed thing.

Either way I will be open about the info. Don't want the real cop to get suspect of me. I do worry if it's a blarg defense but his kill list seems odd to have a reflexive check built in.

Not gonna be posting much today though. Got a nasty migraine that won't leave so I'm going to be asleep most of today.

I'm not sure you should disclose it right away. If it's got something to do with you visiting Blarg it will look super bad, since he will also have been informed about being watched.

I'm just wondering if it's sparks or zeke's potential JOAT. Sparks would check blarg and zeke's cop shot could he balanced by being delayed and sent elsewhere.

But I'll hold off briefly. You're right that blarg could be lying about his list and this is his power instead.

Day 4: Lynch a town -> 11.
Night 4: night kill -> 10.
Day 5: Town doesn't vote? - >10
Night 5: Night kill ->9
Day 6: lynch a town -> 8 WIN

I think we need to kill VA now. He was the one bringing up the correction from Blarg, so he will have a ton of Town cred. Him handing out more keys will also make our lives very difficult.

Alexem and ATP are also Town confirmed, but with them both being vanilla they aren't that big of a threat.

We should also have a look at Zekes will I think to see if we can find something about his role and cop-investigate Stu. So at least we have some information on all players roles.

I'm going to be under quite some pressure tomorrow, so you two should probably bus me. I'll try to get some attention on Zeke, but if I'm flipped that might backfire too.

If the argument is that you picked part of Blarg's post and not the correction, could just say it was an honest mistake and were we really going to turbo the landlord without confirming for ourselves?

Something I'll have to keep in mind for further games as scum is that the "easy" targets you're pushing have to die before you, otherwise it's a soft clear. The solution is to tunnel your teammates.

So I think if we lose Malus we lose this game. If we can somehow keep Malus alive today (probably lynch Fate or Sparks), then it will be 6-3. Kill someone tonight 5-3. We'd just have to misdirect one wagon at that point which is at least within the realm of possibility. So I think I'll shade Malus, maybe even vote there if he's not in danger, but I'm going to avoid bussing at all costs.

I'll add that maybe one way to misdirect the vote tomorrow includes using my will changing ability on a "confirmed town". But let's get through today first.

It would be very fortunate if we could get Zeke voted out to rid ourselves of a key holder and unknown town ability, potentially the jailer. I'll probably play up his argument with ATP, ham up my own argument with him so that people put frustration votes on him.

malus your turmoil vote looks pretty bad on re-read lol. It came in after the Leo claim and before the green check so it looks like you trying to make a competing wagon to save Saw. I'll try not to mention it and focus on the Saw bus.

yeah I'm having a hard time producing the re-analysis that I promised without having this highlighted. I guess I'll have to sell out by being very vague with the context to hand wave it away. It'll be clear that I'm scum if Malus flips but I think that's unavoidable at this point.

Yeah, I noticed how scummy I look while analyzing. But ATP had a similar vote and he is widely Town read, so not all is lost.

Ok I went all in for a Fate push as that seems easiest. There was enough there that I could twist, but it could also easily backfire!

Sparks being an RB could be trouble for us if he blocks a kill. Or he could be lying. And we can't kill him yet as he can be voted out.

I didn't see that claim by Sparks initially. I think if possible it would be better to vote out Sparks today and then Fate after that so that we don't need to worry about Sparks' ability tonight. People seem pretty open to both so we may be able to steer towards Sparks

With Alexem and ChesireCat both going Fate that makes it hard to go Sparks. Assuming Fate gets voted out, who do we kill tonight and who does the deed?

Alexem, ATP, HP, and somewhat Zeke seem the most town read. Alexem potentially has a key, and Zeke definitely has one, which makes them especially risky. Alexem does have a will which is public knowledge, so he is one of the better options to try to use my ability to leave a fake will that points at Sparks?

I would also suggest going for ATP. While his reads are quite favourable for us, he's never going to get voted and it's likely our hit goes through. If there is still a Jailer around, that might give us trouble though.

A fake will is quite risky in my opinion. If people figure out it's forged, the role claim is dead, while otherwise will giver should give some good Town cred.

So, assuming our kill goes through tonight, do we go for the first opportunity to hammer tomorrow? Since it will be MVL we'll still have to hit another night kill with potentially several protective roles still in play.

There's also the possibility that town purposely doesn't want to vote in MVL. we might have to make 2 kills in a row, then do a vote

I'm going to claim cop checker. There's a bread crumb in the thread and even though I'm fairly certain HP is telling the truth I need to play up the dog sniffer with only one positive. Other targets are ATP, Blarg, Zeke, and I missed a night.

If we hit tonight, it's 5-3. Town will likely vote no elimination to go to 4-3 the next day. Definitely an uphill battle with two keys in play and a potential town RB.

If we miss, try to play up hydro cannon though I doubt that would stick lol.

Was just about to do a full role claim when I remembered that discussion from the first page about how Nick Cotton was a bad guy. On wikipedia he's listed as the show's "premier villain". Hmm, should I fake the name?

Hmm, I wonder if Zeke has some way of seeing who was active on which nights? That could potentially be very bad. Though if Sparks isn't the jailer then I would have to think Zeke is.

If we can get Sparks eliminated today, we should have this in the bag. Looks like the jailer was an empty threat or the roleblocker counts as a jailer.
