What the fuck was that Bullshit! I'm super pissed right now. I'll admit part of it is because Ephi is my friend >:( But I'm just pissed at how stupid town is being right now :surprised:

ALSO LOL fuck the people scumreading Ephi for her schedule and how she'd dip in and out. It might just be because I'm aware of her schedule more than they are so i know when she was working, but the fact she got scumread for it is absolute bullshit (specifically disappearing after she said she'd post more when in RL she was working) I've seen this for a while now where people get scum read for out of the game reasons such as disappearing due to RL things (Launch thought Hawthorn was lying about being in a meeting so it was suspicious she showed up to defend herself in one game for example) and I'm honestly tired of it. :I You aren't supposed to speculate about RL stuff and it still happens.

Not everyone has time to constantly play mafia.

Also the sudden votes on Zeke too were bullshit. Why is ATP even townreading Sneeks again. :I

Also I'm super fucking tired of people scumreading someone, that person tries to defend themselves because they have to, and they get get scumread for being defensive and not scumhunting :I Basically once you get scumread like that you might as well just accept being vote out because people just can't win.

I apologized for this one at the time, though in my head, I wasn’t questioning that she was in a meeting. I was saying she was invested enough in the game to be checking in even though she was in a meeting, which I thought was not the same thing but it pretty much is the same thing. It was poor form on my part and not something I’ll be doing again.

I do agree that questioning real life commitments is uncalled for, just like lying about it is. I’ve been on the other end of it (in this game, in fact) and it does put you in a very uncomfortable position.

Has adding a rule/guidance for this been brought up in a review thread before?

It is a rule, in a sense - we aren't supposed to address outside activity. It's hard to get more specific than that, because investment is a valid point to push, but people need to recognize it doesn't fit a particular template. People can be invested in lots of ways.

Ephidel, sorry to see you die -- I thought you played really well, but honestly it's hard at a certain point with no scum flips. It's easy to feel in spec like everything's so obvious, but that's only with the benefit of distance! Also role madness is tough for town deduction, IMO, because it seems like anything could have happened at night, there's no real way to narrow it down.

Leo, that could happen to anybody! Really curious what you said though.

Launchpad, I was never offended about that meeting thing, I got what you were saying (I was town though!). In general real life should be off limits, but it's a tough balance. I agree with what Dr. Monkey said.

To be fair my schedule is all over the place, I get that it makes my participation look eratic at best and I can't actually blame people for thinking it looks off.
You know better because both you know me and you're used to it, other people don't, they have no way of knowing I'm not laying low on purpose.
In time it won't look as weird. For now it is what it is :shrug:
Honestly in the fate game it probably looked even worse, like that night I explicitly said I'd be around and then crashed out instead because I was so tired.

The comment about expecting more from me hit home this game more than anything else that was actually directed at what I was doing.

I can't do anything about my schedule or activity, I can't let that frustrate me. I just need a training arc to work out how to fix all the other things I do wrong and then I'll be fine, right?

Extra info on HP's role, he actually checks to see if the player has a 'scent of a mitchell' so checking launch would lead to a positive result.

In retrospect that's a bad solution but thankfully it didn't impact the game in any way (at least so far)

I did a feint by name-dropping Alexem first because his Role being making people Lovers with his Chat if true was highly mechanically implausible to be scum for balance, it's a really crappy super-transparent bargain bin feint that should be seen through immediately so suspicions will naturally gravitate towards Sawneeks from my death, but if they somehow end up voting out Alexem I'm invoking soap opera rules that when Ael announces the Mafia Win, I'm to be included on scum's side as a winner because the whole time in-game I was actually really my (Mafia-aligned) long-lost twin who had been put up for adoption somewhere in North America at birth and after growing up tough I miraculously discovered where I was really from and that I had a twin who lived across the pond who had been taken in by a super-wealthy family instead of me on a whim so I had now decided in a fit of passionate covetous revenge to sell everything I own to afford the plane ticket to fly over to London's East End and covertly assume my British twin's identity so as to steal as much money, love & attention from what could've been my family if not for their petty decision all those terrible years ago to adopt my twin instead of me just because they were 0.4cm taller than me, as possible before making my escape back overseas which explains why I was speaking in a really suspect attempt at a British accent the whole game but what happened to the actual British twin where were they now and what had I done to them I guess you'll just have to tune in next time to find out

Someone just read Blarg's posts. Why is Alexem finding deep quotes on ATP instead of making sure the apparent red check is accurate.

Now I am not the best at actually reading things closely but it feels like it would be important to iso blarg in this moment.

Look. Scum knows that Sawneeks was toast. While the game was melting down around Alexem i bet scum were confused as hell wondering what to do.

Sometimes town just don't read things right.

In my MU championship game someone posted their scum post in the game thread. And I already knew this person was mafia and completely blanked on it. The person who pointed it out hours later was mafia.

Once something is pointed out it becomes almost unbelievable to mafia that town won't eventually see it.
