Ahem...attention! I said attention! Is this thing even on? I should remind everyone that these after hour staff meetings do not count as overtime so it's in all of our best interests to hurry this up.

Right, thank you. Now as some of you know we recently discovered a dusty old package in the back of the warehouse. Embarrassingly it appears it was sent to this branch five years ago for delivery but uhhh, yeah that didn't happen. It seems too much work to try to deliver it now and try to explain things so in the grand tradition of the United States Postal Service it will be distributed to our own employees. To counter any accusations of impropriety we're going to send it to the branch to the town west of us, they keep having to fire people over there and could probably use the morale boost. Before you leave today nominate someone in that branch using the Highlight tag to receive whatever is in that box.

Also don't forget about the branch picnic this weekend and the raffle for the large lost package we received from Chicago last week. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards the annual holiday party liquor fund.

Having skimmed through most of D2, I will say that I am pro Blargonaut and anti Chuggernaut.

Those are my reads.

Other than that, love how flavorful the game is now with the post office and the messenger roles, fantastic job on all of that, looking forward to seeing how it plays out lol.

lol just realized i can reveal this.

The reason why this game is bastard is purely so I could hide the twist that everyone is a messenger. I didn't want everyone starting out knowing they were because those with a power alongside messaging would realize something was up, and if I called it post office mafia, the twist would be too obvious once people unlocked their message powers.

So I made the game bastard and hid the flavor purely to hide the mechanical twist of the game so the first night at last we'd see what would happen when a player is told they are a messenger and what they might do if they think they are the only one with that power.

of course i had the original idea and some plans for the roster, but my reviewers and Vere are what help making the game truly special c:

Just caught up, holy shit what a bad vote. Sparks was so painfully obviously town. Shame on whichever townies are on that vote. Ephi is definitely scum. Two scum are probably on the Sparks train (Ephi and Stan or HP would be my guess). Third scum is probably fucked off away from the main wagons so that would be wee or Salva. If there isn't an extra kill or a neutral exit I think they could flip my entire list before game end, and I'd bet money doing so would net a victory. Everyone on the Ephi wagon is locked town in my book.

Also didn't get to mention this earlier but I was deeply saddened to see Geno voted out, not only for him getting taken out day one for the 3rd game in a row, but also because the tracker was one of the most important roles in this game.

I fought tooth and nail to have the tracker be unlimited with the justification of there being a lot of noise from the mail and other powers.

But nope :< :< :< These players denied me that DX Also the tracker was the best way of holding everyone accountable.

:D I'm glad someone is excited about the message doc. It seems unfair to not sure all of them at the end of the game especially in showing who the intended targets were XD

I had checked Ephi and really wanted to keep her alive to complete the parity check in case it somehow ended up being a double clear. I was so proud of myself for resisting checking myself!

IDK, I could see it working with the flavor, but it does point against it.

I never got the message he claimed to send me revealing what Blarg said to him in the gossip chat, but I did get other mail the night I died. Too much blocking going around.

Yep. It's really, really hard to maintain a townie facade and get in the middle of the solving when you are scum, and to do it for days and days. It's SO hard.

Now, with Chuggs here, that's an outlier case - he absolutely can do it (sort of; he's in the mix at least), but it changes his behavior and that's not apparent here. Chuggs is town all the way down. HIs frustration is palpable, but so are his attempts to solve. You don't even have to get into the claim. He's just town.

It's kind of you to say though because my play felt like one long string of fuckups from my perspective, heh, but it was a learning experience.
