chugg deserves mad credit for being nigh unrecognizable out there and flying under the radar so effectively. it made showing my whole ass worth it to take out such a dangerous player

also i either didn’t read my pm correctly or completely forgot the detail about vanilla check applying to either faction. glad i didn’t make any big decisions based on that snow ghost check

i super feel for monkey here. as someone who was also trying to play differently and shake off bad habits from past meta this game, i can only imagine it’s even harder when people have an incredibly small group to guess from just because of the pronouns someone uses.

It could very well be Ephi. I didn't think of it until you brought it up because I had a preconception of her being like a long form poster who dips in and out, and doesn't make many short posts.

I caught up for real this time - that claim from Char is, uh, a choice. I honestly find it unlikely that there are roles with 'name the player' conditions on them. Signups were done entirely in secret, we could have new players (and in this case do), and the only other time I remember a costume game having a role like that was I believe Power Rangers and Faddy explicitly talked about how he felt uncomfortable with the role and wasn't a fan since it leads to low key e-stalking people lol I still really don't buy Tech visiting Ghost Bear without crumbing it and I will die on that hill because it's awful play and I don't think Tech was a bad player. That said, none of that really matters in the face of a claim that just reeks.

I do still want to dig into other players today though when I have the time. Right now my town core is something like Wax, Hyde, Sans, Snow Ghost, Boo, and Cat. Stan would jump up here if Char flips mafia because there's no way you open the day with that huge of a bus right after losing a teammate, but if Char is a neutral then a lot of that cred goes away so TBD there. Alien I felt pretty good about as town but I'm seeing opinions shifting there so I feel like I need to do a reread of them as well to make sure I'm not just leaving a blind spot due to the D1 offer of sacrifice.

This is kind of wild to watch. It’s both kind of iffy play from town (They should probably not be going conspiracy mode at this stage of the game) and also exactly what they need to be doing.

I think a vanilla claim would have probably worked too also. The theory kind of falls apart because they don't know exactly what went down, but I think the claim be slightly sketch pushed some people over the edge a bit. Think you did go though, if we didn't just have the worst luck we would probably still be hanging out right now.

I thought when they believed the theory from the start their minds were already set on it, the way I had crumbed it was that I had a good role so idk if I could get away.

Also legit did not know it was either of you two under those costumes. I knew LP was TP on D1 when he said something like "Huh, no post count tracker, can't see who's trying to roleplay as LP" or something lol, I was like "Ok, LP".

Snow Ghost is totally Kyan, idk if anyone else figured that one out in here yet, but I can always tell Kyan in costume games based on his posting style.

And yeah, San Fran is Monkey, I thought she was Sorian for a bit on D1 though but knew it was her by EoD.

Also had Baba and Char pegged as Geno and Gorlak before they were outed lol.

Who else... Woodsman is Malus, I'm pretty certain on that, noticed it when ISOing him on D1, I've read lots of Malus ISOs in my day lol.

And yeah, Wee took over for Ambulance, that was super obvious lol.

Pazzo is Natiko, figured him out on D1 too.

That's about it for my identity reads I think.

I wasn't very good at guessing people.

Only one I got right for Char as Geno. I thought San Fran was Sorian until Monkey said that she'll drop the cosplay.
