Sorian is pretty adamant about VA being a cop. His role doesn't care about marygaryness, I don't think I'm getting much else from him on that front. Will push him for read so we have an idea where he stands.

What do you all think about faking malus as Emissary? We are giving a free check there, but it'd give VA some room to claim the actual cop role. Us killing malus over VA will also look somewhat questionable if we just retract his PM, as that will give way to the question of "Why wasn't this done to VA, who was also perhaps softing alignment things?" It might make it look more like scum went with a blind shot on one of the two targets and they happened to chose the weaker one.

If there is a role that'd give malus a hint about Nat being town, but not outright confirm it, it'd be better, but quickly thinking I am not instantly aware of such in the context of what we know about actions and whatnot.

Mess and all, town being town and getting confused, but you did impose enough control on the situation to deter people like Sorian and Wiz from your ass. Sorian speaking for you was big.

I'm not sure we have a perfect clean play here. If you do the kill and get tracked, goodbye. If you don't do the kill and get tracked, you will not move, which looks like you got blocked. The second seems like the better alternative, but given that it wasn't obvious to all what people were seeing in you, chances are that some if not many will find the idea that you got blocked and malus got killed suspicious.

If we can sell the idea that scum thought it possible that both you and malus were hinting at alignment-related activities, block one and and kill the other is a perfectly standard play for scum to make. And while this might seem too clean for us, town has no info and all it sees is a mess.

You getting Wiz-Watched and him proving that you were not blocked is not an issue, since his power supposedly only works on Garys. He can catch us on Gary-malus though, but we can do nothing about it if we want malus dead.

Wiz kill could be a thing. I doubt he gets protected as Chuggs does not trust him. It gets rid of one of the things we cannot really handle right now. Leaving you and malus alive gives neither of you any town karma and keeps up the facade that either of you could be scum. Really, with both of you alive, it might be possible for you two to abstain from direct claims and just Fight Club it out while town moves POE to other folks. I think explanations will be expected though. Wiz kill also weakens Fran's eventual claim somewhat and him playing the "I would oppose my team killing anyone who could vouch for my role." does get countered with "ye but he watcher though, he claim to you or what?" pretty fast.

Should really read his posts to see if he has been softing other checks besides Nat.

Also, to reiterate---I didn't plan on going full cop, unless you all think I should. I was going to claim 1 shot cop check, and 1 shot redirect of anything targeting me. Via my lasso and bracelets respectively. I can go full in on cop, but wasn't sure since we are seeing a lot of flips with limits.

Re-read Nat and I see 0 indication of a role. If there are crumbs, I see none for Malus to pick up on. Nat was also RB'ed early on if it matters.

Rando already used the forge command on Malus so he is doing the kill. The forge command also kills (or at least that's how I understood it).

1. I don't object to it. Not sure if optimal and I feel that might've pushed Sorian on myself with the flip but such is life. Wiz could be the optimal kill here, but ehh. Cops scawy =(
2. Redact fully, go for lols with [FATE SAYS HI], forge something that does can coexist with your fake claim. Somebody has to write the 3rd one though.
3. That's how I read it, we have two hours to argue with and complain to loki and Vere about what we get to forge and why.

I'm fine with killing malus if we really think he is the cop. He's a suboptimal kill in terms of wagon placement because he was almost voted out and it might implicate me. Him hesitating to claim tells me he has something good though.

I don't want to put him as Emissary because then we need to think of an entire fake paragraph of flavour + fake role PM + a name + image in 2 hours while I'm at work. That's not happening by me but if somebody wants to do that work be my guest

Dumb idea---and I'll gladly write whatever nonsense---what if we made Malus a Digimon? Specifically, a Digi-Egg who doesn't know it's powers until it finds its partner and hatches. However, if his partner isn't found by Day 4, he dies. He has to be careful though---there are bad people out there, and if he picks the wrong partner he might die.

I'm trying to think of a way to create some more confusion with a flip that somehow has death baked into it if Malus does X because I want it to come across like we actually failed in our kill last night, convering for, "Why Malus...?" Well, because something with Malus' power flipped and he died. He either targeted wrong person, didn't find his partner, whatever. Just spitballing here.

^This doesn't fit super strong into the Gary Stu/Mary Sue, but it does give us an inorganic. Aaaand if Rando is really in a tough spot today like I imagine they will be, he can claim to be the Digimon partner Malus was looking for. Could even start the day with an overly grumpy post (but leave it vague) because his egg just got murdered.

It's a little out there, but look at the banner of this game! There's stuff from all over, and our gamerunners are nerds (I assume). It finally gives an inorganic like was mentioned in the opening post, and town has no reason to believe anything is fake. They've already found a few powers a confusing. This one is less odd---end of the day, the flavor is silly, but at it's core it's just a lover looking for their pair to team up with.

I don't think it will work because it's a really unfair role for the player. Them having to find a player and if they miss they die? I don't think that would pass review.

But can be discussed as it depends of the reviewer but what will give it away is that Malus would have breadcrumbed that HARD. Even more yesterday. It makes no sense that he didn't just claim to find his partners instead of dying.

If we want to just have fun, I think we can go for better memes (but I don't really care much what we do). If we want to fool someone I don't think that will work.

Does it work if we take out the dying at day X part, then it becomes implied he visitied a bad person perhaps? Or start from scratch. End goal: I'd love to have a flip that makes it seem as if something other than NK got Malus. You're all smarties with more experience. How do we do that?

Oh, and I don't want it to be if they miss they die. More that there is an implication there is a specitic target out there that is bad for the egg, and if Malus chooses, they die. Anyone else would be no result.

We're going to run into trouble with town core. Nat, Zook, and Sorian. If I die, at least Sorian's town confirmation goes with me. But until I do, that's a solid 3.
