Hold up, this is actually pretty interesting:
Medium + interloper or whatever - similar but not same, and both require some work and verification
Item giver/item stealer - matched pair; both require others to "confirm" them; assumption players would want them to be opposite sides
jailer - requires someone else to "confirm"
messenger - same
lovers - come with built-in confirmation from others
donnie + sneeks = relies on others
override - built-in confirm
whatever salva's role is + stubborn voter - relies on judging others and making predictions?
nin - relies on pings from others
terra/sleepwalker - can cook up a confirm with nin/watcher
faddy - escape artist, self confirms but costs a day
miller- this is an outlier
Sorian really does stick out from this angle, right? But they will never flip him. The presence of a miller says cop so they will assume cop. This really hinges on how Donnie's power works with a miller in play (or if toys "counted" as a cop). But they will assume there is a cop and he's uncountered, though if it's a fake claim, parity cop was a good one (I remember some discussion of that at the time?).
If he's scum, I say it's over. They won't get him. They have no reason to. Anyone can have bad votes (and many do) but the design means they won't take the risk even if it's noticed he sticks out - and even then (and this is what makes it a good fake claim) Sorian is smart enough about design spec to make a parity cop fit into the above charting, since it does rely on others. They'd have to go waaaaaay back to him overexplaining for no real reason why he chose the way he did, and that's unlikely.

what's funny is all Geno had to do was claim Tracker and he would have been fine because town doesn't have any tracking powers outside of Nin's and some items. The noise roles were to hide the good town powers from scum trying to find someone doing night actions.

Salva guessed Maol and Zipped won a card, I rolled and saw it was for nin the player aka Retromon. I gave ZIpped the card for Nin's flavor Baronkey, which Darkside has ;w;

I really got stuck trying to find two scum slots. The only pairing that really worked for me was Geno and Terra, and I really thought Terra's wolf equity was through the roof. I was really confident that both scum players had voted me when Wizard put his vote down.
If I had considered only one scum left, then it's easier to see Geno, but since I was working with the assumption there was two, Geno as scum only made sense to me if Terra was also scum.

You were fine and you were definitely putting in the work which can be a hard thing to do once you are confirmed town, a lot of players would have coasted from there.

I have been guilty of that and it's hard not to fall into that complacency. Bojack was willing to listen and re-assess his thoughts yesterday and that's probably what you want most from confirmed town.

We had an issue in Gnosia where a highlighted command fucked up the vote tool, so we are basically thinking of only having vote commands be highlighted for in thread content (pms fine).
I was wanting to bring it up at season review. After Gnosia I changed the public command pms to say to just make it red, but Bo used highlight actually lol.

Why would an item thief be town when it’s the only item thief? I know that one game had thieves on both sides because the game was item-or-no-move, but that was a special circumstance.

That's what caused me to flip from Wiz to Geno when I really thought about it plus Geno just started feeling scummy. There were things that I didn't like from Wiz but it started to make no sense why a town thief would take stuff a town item giver provided. Geno deliberately going off train on D1 was a tell that I mentioned but wish I had pushed it more.

Ah so Geno is the scum as I believed, lol. My other guess was Sorian. I just didn't have the time to play and I literally kept missing deadlines and posting opportunities. When I knew town was going to lynch maol I realized I just couldn't keep up with the game and asked for a sub since I couldn't bring myself to catch up and try to make a case for who to flip.
I'm glad you were able to play though! It had been too long since your last game.

That was going to be my plan going into today. The way I saw it, there were only two viable candidates from wagonomics: Wiz and Geno.
If there was a bus on ATP, it would only be one scum given how close it was. Any other scum would have to be off wagon D1. D2, no way they're mega stacking on Sparks when there are two other town wagons available. That eliminates melon, darkside, and Sorian. Leaving you with Wiz and Geno. I was denied a chance to actually be right this game lol

You voted for Wiz at the start of the day! And then switched to dark when dark started getting suspicion! Geno is doing a really good job at mucking things up, no one is really pushing back against his approach today and his claim.

the only issue is he also added bastard be damned. I argue the role isn’t bastard at all as all I did was not tell him the source of the answer. I didn’t lie and say “I will answer these” when it’s spec or vice versa, so it’s on everyone and Hedin for assuming it was me answering.
plus oracles are the ones that get answers from the game runner, or they a role like Ephi’s in Star Trek. Finally I based this role somewhat on Spark’s role in mystery (that one was limited shot but could ask any question) (this one was unlimited but restricted), I just also forgot there might be a difference with the OG role being from a bastard game and this one not being one.
Also this isn’t the first time we have roles not specify things. You don’t have to say directly in lover pms that both parties are town, it’s basically confirmed in non bastard games.
