I was 100% memes d1 lol and I just could not leave you without an invite after I saw that. like I said, I laughed for many good minutes when I saw that post and sent in the command to inv you. fun things are fun. I read your posts from the Fran thing forward first time a couple of hours ago. I had no effective read on you (sans the missing night action) before that.

I do not aim to make you uncomfortable. I like to think that chats like this are just a tool of solving like any other. My current view is that there is a chance that you are not town. Ain't a strong view or anything and I am hardly one to push people to begin with. I can be wrong and time will tell if I am. Regardless of your alignment, I'd encourage you to use this chat as a tool. Whether it is a tool to solve me or to do something else, it's up to you. My aim is to not only solve but to get solved.

I don't know man. I've been trying to give you some trust so we can use this chat as a tool but it's very hard. Just counting a few things that felt off to me:

1. Choosing your member on memes.
2. Asking if I was moving last night, and saying it was because you were sending an 'important' item that never came.
2. Asking if I have items
3. Asking me what my starting mafierabucks were.
4. Shooting me and taking my property
5. Voting me afterwards

I mean, sorry if I'm wrong but I just didn't feel any genuine desire to figure me out on your end other than what I had.

I attempted to give something to Vere last night. He did not receive it. The action fails if the target moves. Vere claims he did not move. Some possible explanations:
  1. I was blocked.
  2. I was manipulated to a target that moved and my action failed.
  3. Vere was manipulated to move and my action failed.
  4. Vere was switched with someone.
  5. Vere just moved to make my action fail.
  6. Vere did receive the thing and because it is pretty obvious what it might be, he and his mates chose to lie about not receiving it.
I can't rule out the scum possibilities, though it is perfectly possible that Vere is town and he had nothing to do with any of this. I do not think that the scum cases are that conclusive, really. It'd be risky to say that you don't move and then just move anyway when you can't be certain I am telling the truth. Even if scum Vere received the thing, I'd be slightly surprised if 6 was the option scum would go with, because it is so tame in comparison to what could theoretically be done.

Really, 6 in particular is one of the stronger points towards Vere being town IMO. It's just that I can't be sure that scum wouldn't go with the tried and true tame option.

I am very much winging this game man. I am hardly pushing for masses of reads or lots of content. It just happened that you were one of the topics yesterday (vs. Fran), which then spilled over to today (vs. Chuggs). Given that I invited you here, it felt most appropriate to have a read on you sooner than later so I finally went and read.

1. I understand if that bothers and concerns you. I said in my first post of the game that this'd be a chill meme game for me. It will be that until the end. Goes without saying that I've kinda dropped the act at this point, but the effort has only gone up ever so little and it will not rise much from here I imagine. I just don't have the time or interest in solving a gigamadness game of million people. I joined to have fun and that's still very much one of the bigger driving forces behind my actions. Honestly, had I not randomed you, I might not have shot you, and instead just kept my paranoia to myself.

2. I am at this point not interested in revealing more details about the thing. I have been honest about my action restriction and about my claim in general. Well, I've obfuscated a bit, but that's the fun part speaking again. Money I've lied about, I'm not rich by any means, but I have a reasonable chance to survive Monopoly I think.

2. You were the one to bring up the items (well sans me memeing about my item). I only touched the matter after that and in an open manner. You had the chance to deflect the discussion elsewhere and you did. I pursued the matter no further, because you do what you do with your items. I was only interested in what you felt like sharing.

3. Here I was concerned that you might not have been truthful about you being poor (cuz I wasn't lol). I looked at the property you bought and the rolls you had and with the standard 1500, you should've had ~1k still - far from being poor. Tracking the money was a big thing in EZA, as you might remember. Didn't remember that the roulette was a thing for one, and stealing. Essentially, I was analyzing if you were being truthful. I asked because I was worried and wanted clarity.

4. No need to rehash the arguments for the shot, but the two properties came as a surprise and something beyond my control. If you wish to argue that I shot you in hopes that I'd get the property you claimed to have bought, you are free to do so. I have no effective counter to that other than my word that it was not the case.

5. I generally vote for people that I'd like to flip.

I'll tell in couple of nights when I run out of shots. Not before. The exact nature of the thing is such that I still think it is better to get natural reactions to it than to spill the beans, even if the info is out there.

I've tried to be as open as I can, limiting the info only where I felt it necessary. Honestly, giving out too much info in many ways, the optimal play might've been just to toss the thing to a blocked player without saying a single thing. That was my original idea, but I wanted to involve you Vere since it'd give me the chance to analyze you and the game better. Besides, I liked the whole secret chat that plans things -angle. Sounded fun, but scum got in the way. A shame.

No concrete ideas yet. Not gonna meme it. Someone I town read and who doesn't feel like an immediate night kill. The latter might drop folks like Rando and Leo. Maybe even Sorian. Could get wee maybe. Could use the chat to get something out of Nat since he's been busy so far. Vere's suggestion of Ephi is a good one too. Talky folks are good, I work best in reaction to others. Terra should die soon, maybe not him. Don't think I trust Chuggs yet.

Believe me, I understand the issue of thinking that this chat might be compromised and inviting possible townies here. Is what it is, I can only hope that I am right about new folks and wrong about Vere.

I like chats. But they only work when you have a even a false semblance of trust between each other. There's 35 people in the game, at least 27 are town, that's a huge mine of people to trust. I'm not angry that Kyan scum reads me, we could talk about that. I'm pissed and confused that he did it without bothering to understand me or talk about it, and shot me wanting my flip. If out of 35 people I, who he recruited, is who he scum reads most then I don't think there's something to talk about. He couldn't even give me the benefit of doubt before turning to killing me. I can't trust someone like that at all. I can handle someone being suspicious or not believing me, but I really don't care to engage with someone hostile 24/7. Just isn't appealing to me.

I don't know, it would probably be easy to say you're scum and OMGUS etc, but I'm not interested in that. Your role gives me pause on saying you're scum, and the way you've been playing is chaotic to me so I can't say either way. I think town, neutral and scum are all possible atm, and I would need to see more vote data to get a handle.

I think this is the part where we can talk and try to understand each other. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt right here and will continue to do so until you flip, start open wolfing, or get confirmed as alignment X. I have not been hostile 24/7, or really at all I hope. My view is what it is right now and it is certainly possible to change it. The whole chat, much like the main thread that it is a natural extension of, is about understanding others.

The biggest show of trust is to try and solve others. I want to see you as town. I want you to see that I want to see this. To that end, one's gotta get solving.

I'm very very likely to be fine if I get 51 for my property. A couple of weird doubles could screw me. But I don't think there is any way out of that situation. It is just the game.

Recruitment should not be restricted. I see no mention of 12 spaces being a thing for day actions and I think Geno might've confirmed this in the thread too.

Haven't recruited anybody yet though, kinda thought about getting Nat in now. Or Sorian.

I'd argue that if you ignore my suspicions about Vere, all I have been doing here is to build up some town cred. In a way, I think this chat has felt slightly similar to the ones I had in Mary Gary as scum. The fear of being getting caught is missing though, I really like that. Not that it is something that can be shown though, heh.

Nah, not so far at least. Mostly just guesses at who people are but I haven’t exactly been around to engage so that’s probably more on me than wee.

Also I can’t share the thing I got yet but once we are no longer costumes I’ll share it in the main thread if I get the chance (well even if I die no one can stop me since it’s not game related).

Nah Geno just killed Sparks and then didn't kill the other account now just because. Then we started voting honey so he decided to do the flip.

At least that is what i think.
