Yeah, it seems like ever since Faddy claimed that's all anyone wants to talk about, which is unfortunate but to be expected I guess. I hope they'll snap out of it and just land on one of the actually scummy targets instead, but I could totally see them talking themselves into "testing" the role claim first.

That's the problem with claims and town. Town sees unconfirmed claims as pieces to a puzzle, then they become complacent since they've already got a lead to solve, and when they don't get confirmation they dig in and tunnel. They're liable to be shoving a square piece into a round hole until they get a flip. I can't say much because I've fallen into this trap too =/.

@Hecht you should've claimed neutral at the end there or maybe a bit earlier. We all got a heart for neutrals, so some harmless room chooser (or whatever) couldn't be dangerous right?

I'm amazed they didn't go for wee though... "I've got breadcrumbs yo" - "can't find them though" lol

I'm not quite sure what to make of kalor there. He was very quick to find something.

My marking and then successfully getting rid of Scumonkey is my fav personal mafia moment. I've been living off it so much I thought I could pull the same thing off with Godfather. But he had to go screw it up by being town :(

My biggest regret that game was not sticking to my scum read of her and instead making a stupid self absorbed assumption that she left the game because she was mad that I was accusing her

Mine was putting out a huge read on Extreme Tactician at LyLo, basically perfectly summing up why he was Scum, but then concluding it with "Eh, he's probably Town though, let's vote for Nin." Ugh.

However, in my next game with ET, I successfully called him out as Scum on D1 within 12 hours of the game starting, and convinced everyone to lynch him, and I was right, so I got the last laugh lol.

One or the other, I wish Fran could stop being rude about game balance ("shout at Pedro"); not fun to go back to the thread and see that stuff. It's not like the game wasn't reviewed by 2 other unbiased people.

Yeah, I don't like the way some of those conversations have been going. I think it's ok to ruminate on whether a claimed role makes sense in a game, but to start saying that if they are wrong then they are going to yell at the gamerunner for it, that's a bit mean.

And yes, I say this as the person who totally yelled at Grizzly for how the Cult mechanic worked in the last game, so I've learned my lesson there.

I don't mind it that much, but Faddy actually still dismissing everything I did is anti-town. If he bothered he could use me in his case against Fran, which I would encourage.

I still think Fran is scum.

After a busy few days it was kind of hard to keep up with the pace of the Mansion thread, just finished reading.

Hecht's role sounded super interesting, a shame he died before reaching the blue room. Wee's claim seems weird too… not sure about what to make out of it.

Also @Fantomas keep those EZA gifs coming!

Fran -> Salva -> Malus. That's my preferred lynch order right now. You can swap Salva and Malus honestly, it doesn't matter, just take those three out and the game is probably won. Unless there is a Neutral afoot that Town needs to take out in order to win too.

Otherwise someone in the Swamped/Exodus/Chugg/Meatwad group is Scum, and I do not see that as being likely.

It's not over yet, but they just had quite the day phase haha. There have been some pretty big twists in there so far, and it is a lot less pages to read than the Mansion, so I would recommend giving it a look if you get the chance haha.

Unfortunately, I feel like there have been too many soft spoilers in here for me to give an honest read list for the Mansion anymore. I might just have to ask you for the full spoilers here, Brazil, then I can enjoy watching Town try to figure it out and see how the Scum players go about their business as we get into the mid-game days.

As for Simon, I'm fine not knowing the spoilers there because I'm like 90% sure I've got the game solved along with the rest of my town reads in that game. If there is a Neutral though, that will be a surprise on their reveal if they aren't one of my current Scum suspects.
