I had a normal Hider in LiS, so I dont know why people are saying it's weird for it to not be a Weak Hider. Weak Hider works like a Cop as per the Weak modifier, but a normal Hider is more like a defensive ability with some negative utility in that a double kill can happen. Not that weird in my opinion.
Crazy theory, people who are saying it's weird know his alignment is scummy and are trying to earn town cred by bussing.

I posted something in scum chat this game meant for here. Thankfully A) I caught it instantly and B) it was just pointing out Fanto's dedication to playing (had no actual game relevant info). During LB3 (I think it was this game at least), I posted something clearly meant for scum chat in the MU spec thread and it sat out there for hours until Pedro noticed it. Thankfully no one else saw it I believe, and he deleted it.

Kalor is my top Scum now, I kind of believe the Meatwad claim, feel like Scum would have a more composed claim ready if they have fake ones.
I have never accidentally posted in the game thread instead of Spec, but I worry about it all the time lol.

Yeah, it's a bit unusual for our community, but it seemed like the best compromise. There's been enough backlash against Hecht Rhythm for incentivizing stagnation (since a turbo gains no time), but at the same time weekend phases are very often ghost towns. I figured fuck it - normal phase cadence but I'll impromptu make exceptions.

I still don't see what makes a normal Hider so controversial? I know I definitely put some uncommon roles in LiS but I thought that was more of a standard one lol.
Oh well, if Meatwad is Town he definitely didnt play it as one would expect, but lots of people have played roles in ways not really considered the "best way" so meh.

I think Fran's commuter claim is fake. But I also want him to reveal the flavor name for it because I can't see a commuter role working with a Death Stranding flavor. Was disappointed nobody asked.

Yeah, I really hope none of them are planning on using that. I don't think I've ever seen a Miller claim save someone whether it's true or not if it wasn't claimed immediately on Day 1.

I still think the easiest answer is just Kalor and Fandorin. Fran is still a huge possibility, he voted Kalor today instead of Meatwad, which I could see as either a bus vote or setting up that future mislunch to go with the general read of Kalor/Meatwad being partners. I still wouldn't go for him before either Kalor or Fandorin though.

Since I got a townie killed, I tried to wipe the scum team with my powers, but I don't know if I was right.

You're fine, it was a good play. Though I will say I typically leave neutrals alone when town unless it's a Serial Killer. At worst they're a distraction typically and I'd rather scum hunt. (I will push them to a lunch if town is stonewalled tho)
Gambits are awesome to try and pull off. One of the reasons I prefer playing non town is because non town roles naturally develop themselves to eventual gambit play.

Regular hiders are pretty uncommon. Weak hider is more standard.
