I'm thinking, but I'm not sure what you could do either. I wouldn't recommend going down swinging at us because neither DCPat/me are in your scum reads, and Grizzly is in your town reads.

Worst case scenario you do have the cop claim you can run with. It will ensure your survival through at least one lynch, although it'll also make people question why you're not dead before long.

And that's a good idea, Grizzly. We need you to rack up them townie points

Yeah, I'm staying as calm as I can be but ignoring those posts might make me look bad so I'm trying for a "It's just the way I am" type of thing.

If this keeps looking bad for me in the final hours of tomorrow, I may have to make a claim with my role power. I doubt it would save me but I might be able to argue that I targeted a player (not a token), and found out Royal_Flush was a townie. That would at least allow me to argue why would I kill RF if I was investigating him.

Or something. We can see how things look tomorrow as I don't want to claim until I absolutely have to.

If you would need to claim, that needs to be left until the last hour of the day. Claiming you checked Royal could give you a bad look, since he died n1 too.

Indeed. I've mainly asked him so far about terms and such (such as OMGUS after it was used on me last day phase lol). He's given some good info on other terms as well which I'll keep in mind just incase. (including what Mylo and Lylo are haha)

Like I said, I'm not an assertive person yet playing in a game where being assertive is important mostly is a new experience for me.

That said, I don't believe those posts will save me if people start honing in on me. So I'm considering what my next target should be. Maybe someone will say something I can hone in on by tomorrow lol.

One thing I learned is that people buy honesty a lot in this community, even when they really shouldn't. You can shit talk and do questionable reads to some degree all you want, as long as you "own it up" so to speak and make it yours. It's the reason why players like Nin, Kyan, and Blarg make it so far regardless of alignment

I honestly think that is also the secret to why Sorian always makes it so far in games. He has this aura of condfidence that he uses to manipulate people to believing him, even when his role claims are ridiculous (town hooker)

I'm going for the "Super townread on SweetNicole" angle, just in case I'm lynched. I want to make it look like she's my buddy, so to speak.

I am worried there still isn't enough distance between me and Grizzly, but that only matters if either of us are lynched. Which I don't think will happen today.

Yup. People aren't always looking at fallacious logic. It's much easier to notice confidence.

Of Gods and Men back at GAF was where I really started noticing that. Because on one hand I got town confirmed on Day 3 (which was liberating) but as a result people looked too much to my reads and it felt harder. I wasn't as confident, and I missed the obvious fallacies (Dragonz) that I should have picked up.

It's like what Fandorin mentioned earlier in Day 1, when I replied back to him in a very casual and honest answer:

That's a good response. It gives me pause though since I expected something way more confrontational, considering my own contributions so far.

And what I said to him wasn't a lie either. I really didn't have strong reads (just not the kind he was thinking) and I really did read over Kalor despite the fact that I could have easily been bullshitting. At the time, he bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Sorian makes it far into games because he is a fun person to play with imo. It makes him a hard mislynch early and a good mislynch for mafia in the late game because people will eventually tunnel on him.

Also on this, while I doubt you'll be lynched today, it's a good strategy. Your last post is a glowing endorsement on her at the moment and she is likely to survive longer than you unless we NK her or someone else has an NK card they use on her.

I hold a grudge against Splinter for Buck Bumble.

You were right about the 2 investigators and I was wrong but that isn't what lost the game for town. Claiming fake checks lost the game for town.

For the NK, Brazil or Nicole seem like good candidates as they are both read as super town right now. So they seem like logical targets for Scum to go after.

Let's stay calm. Lot can happen, and you are not the only lynch candidate. Xbro, Nin and even Fandorin are pretty possible people to be lynched. And if you have to claim, that will make the last hour interesting.

Sorry for my bad play though this day phase. I think my attempts to be more active and scum hunty as backfired on me.

Haha, I'm calm mostly. I'm just accepting the likely hood that I'm gonna be lynched. Especially considering how quiet it was at the end of D1, if it's similar, there won't be many people posting to get me out of this bind XD assuming I'm still top lynch in votes

Should work. We should make it an X-shot (aka 2-shot, 3-shot something like that) power. Most likely need to either:

a) Say you didn't use the power N1
b) Say you targeted Royal, but give your power a limited range. This would mean the need to out you as Horse & Rider

Because simply saying you got Royal's results wouldn't convinve anyone imo.

Hmm, the second one is risky because they would assume Scum would come after me though you could argue that Scum may have wanted to wait and see how it works despite being outed as Horse & Rider.

The first one may not convince anyone.

Regardless you will be aimed at D3, even if you survive today.

And maybe you are right about a not convincing people. But in that case we need to make you claim you targeted Royal - but that has to be done convincingly, otherwise people will just assume you killed him.
