I suppose I could have claimed neutral but I've got too much going on here to make that work right now I think and after yesterday it's unlikely anyway was going to not lynch me today so GODSPEED, YOU TWO. But anyway, I feel like we need a top tier gambit at this point. Me and Alpha can trudge along a few more days, but not nearly enough for us to win.

Anyways, we have four confirmed townies: rac, Trini, Green Ranger, and Kimberly. We have to start triming that list down.
I am not going to presume that town is out of defenses, so it comes down to figuring out which player is the least likely to be defended. Trini was either protected by a doctor or had a bulletproof given to her. Worst case, she is a Commuter.
I think rac is the safest choice to kill, because we know that he doesn't have any inherent defensive abilities, and he is more likely to be passed over in favor of blocking the others.
Unless someone gave him a bulletproof. Argh.

rac is pretty aggresive yeah, but that’s mostly because he doesn’t need to mince words at all. He’s 100% confirmed so we can take what he says at face value.
Do you see him building a case agaisnt us like Zack did on Zordon? I feel like he’s a gut read player, which got amplified by his PR.

I mean, I think there’s a vig because if not, what power am I supposed to copy?
Alignment cop is useless for us, Gossip chat pretty much as well (maybe for a fake claim later, but meh) and BP giver only makes sense if town has a killing role as well.
No signs of a serial killer too, maybe he is a X-shot or can only kill later, but that doesn’t seem likely.
Tracker or a watcher could help too, but I think there’s more than one possible role for me to copy.

Rita isn't 100% confirmed town, so I am reluctant to target her. I would only do so if you are confident that she is actually a doctor, but I am inclined to think it is someone else.
If we don't trim down the confirmed town list, we are doomed. We can rely on my jail to deal with power roles.
Actually, this is a good time to ask Sawneeks: can I use both my jail and the kill, or likewise can Skull use both the copy and kill in one phase? My PM didn't specify.

The real problem is that when Monkey claimed tracker, she listed her tracked targets as Pink, Trini, and Rita. I can't say I jailed Pink and Trini those same nights; I might as well put up a neon flashing sign that says "Alpha 5 was Zordon's teammate!"
But if Trini does happen to have a PR, she may realize that she was blocked that night. I mean, it would be easy to say that I jailed rac night 2 otherwise, but I am worried about that off-chance.
On the other hand, I feel that the thread deserves to know that Pink found their target with their first unblocked shot.

Oh, you’re completely right. Didn’t even think of that.
I think you should change your N1 target then, but keep the block on Trini. Maybe reread your own D2 and see who would make sense for you to have blocked.
Worst case, say you blocked Zordon or me.
Blocking Green makes sense for the opposite reason then, since you can protect him instead.

I think it’s important to have a blocked player alive in the claim, for obvious reasons. So Trini should be kept there.
On kill target, I think we shouldn’t think much then and go for rac as you say. I’m afraid of hitting protection again, but w/e. We need to go for confirmed players as you said.

Getting slight callbacks to Monopoly where scum was completely destroyed D2 and still managed to slowly get back into the game. Only to lose at the end with a chain lynch.
That’s why we should get our long term game ready for when it inevitably comes time for us to take the spotlight. Don’t be afraid to be openly scum read me if needed and vote quick for it. If one vote makes the diference between our lynch or a mislynch, be on the bus. Other than that, we have our fake claims already being set up for when they are needed.
Later on we could go for a stupid all-in gambit, but right now just play it cool.

This is my main point.
It’s not hard evidence by any means, but the PRs we’ve seen don’t make much sense for us to copy, while a vigilante definitely would.
And it’s hard to see a vig sitting on his shot like this, if there is one.

For starters, we could use your ability purely as a role cop check if we wanted: copy someone to see if they are bluffing about their claims. Rita for example. If there is a vigilante, a spare bulletproof wouldn't actually hurt, if you can copy Rita after she has already used up her shots.
I do agree that it would be wierd if there wasn't another killing role out there. My Jail ability is just a reflavored roleblocker otherwise. Who knows? Maybe I've already unintentionally blocked the vigilante from killing townies. That would explain the missing vigilante shots. Maybe someone shot at Trini Night 2?
