Now, let's get down to business. Here is my role PM:

You are a CIA Agent who has infiltrated the bunker to prevent the conspiracy nuts to spread their knowledge to the world.

You are a Liar. During the night phase you can use the command Lie: PlayerName1 PlayerName2. At the start of the next day phase PlayerName1 will receive an PM telling him that PlayerName 2 in not a townie. The player won’t know that you sent the PM. You only have 1-shot.

So, I basically have a one-shot fake red check that I can anonymously send to someone.

Let me know if I seem super scummy or anything in the thread, so far I feel like I'm playing like I was in GoT.

I like the map talk since it's easy to get in on because it's not like any of us know shit about it either. If the map isn't a red herring then there probably is a town role or two that make use of it in some way, otherwise idk what to make of it.

And for the record Nin, I was planning to vote for you with one of my first posts before I ever got my Role PM, so don't worry about that lol.

I'll just need to start calling someone scum for some semi-weak reason eventually like I did to Splinter on D1 in GoT haha. The map talk should make that relatively easy since I can probably just pick on someone who isn't making much sense or seems hesitant to talk about it and drop a vote on them.

An Amnesiac Cop functions as a normal Cop, but does not receive the results of its investigations. Those investigation results are sent to another (unknown) player.

Seems like it's basically what the honest version of my role would be.

Sorian and Spark are in a mason chat and are trying to set a lure by starting a bandwagon on Kalor.

Looks like it might be setting up to be Geno/Terraforce now with Sorian switching to Terra and Faddy going to Splinter.

I've been the most open about reading Geno as scummy among them, and I'm not sure if I want to stack my vote with Malus. I've also thrown shade at Terra recently though, so I can probably frame this as a debate between the two of them in my mind, and maybe mention Splinter too just to throw Faddy a bone, but say I wouldn't vote there today. Honestly though if anyone else joins Faddy I'm going to feel obligated to join too because I couldn't help but point out how scummy you have seemed at times and I know Faddy is going to beg for my vote on that train if it picks up steam because of that.

This is the part of playing as Scum that I'm most worried about is EoD votes haha.

I made a choice during the day phase today, when day 2 starts, I’m going to have been deleted from the game (removed from the player list, blah blah, you’ve seen it before). You won’t get a flip from me but when day 3 rolls around, it will be extremely obvious what I did. If you all want to fuck with me during tonight’s phase, go for it, but I already did my thing so that’s your call. I debated if it was worth pointing this out cause maybe I could eat scum PRs but I didn’t want to just disappear and let you all fight about it for a day. Good luck everyone.

That role is interesting though. It seems to imply people can move rooms at night. Since this is a Bastard game though, and Role Madness, I could see that being literally nothing. It does make sense why he thought maybe people in a whole room could be fucked with though, thinking Scum can move at night to different rooms. But, well, none of us can, so that's kind of what makes me think it's a bullshit Bastard role.

Hey nin, would definitely like to hear your thoughts on D1 since you weren't really around. Would also like to hear everyone else's thoughts too.

For myself, I think most of us are looking pretty good on a general thread vibe level. Myself and Ketkat I think seem the most towny, most people seem willing to give Malus a pass as a new player. Splinter and Nin however are both catching some heat, so I think we'll need to watch out for that tomorrow. I'm trying to keep you both on a null/slight scum read for now, but I'm going to be 100% honest and say that I think you two are kind of the prime bus candidates so far for the rest of us to get Town Cred if it ever comes to that.

As for our abilities, like I said I think I want to hold on to mine for a bit still. Splinter I guess it's up to him if he wants to switch someone's Room but idk what that would do for us. Janitor is off the table on N1.

So that leaves Nin's Track and Ketkat's Secret Vote (plus our normal kill of course).

I think we should maybe hold off on the Secret Vote for now, I want to get a better idea of what we all expect to happen with that.

For the Track, I think it would probably be best if we try to find a Doctor/Protector out there. So if we Track someone and they are on Terraforce (who is most likely to be protected tonight after his Cop claim) I would guess we probably found them. I don't know who I would guess is the doctor/protector with such little info to go off of. I would normally guess that it's someone who isn't being very active, the protector in GoT was Giant Panda and he was mostly quiet until he had used his shots and claimed, then he was a more active force in the thread itself rather than just at night.

So yeah.

TL;DR:
Myself, Ketkat, and Malus seem safe tomorrow.
Nin and Splinter could catch some heat.
I don't want to use my ability tonight.

Fantomas is definitely our main anchor in town at the moment. I think KetKat will have to prove herself tomorrow and hasn't really been classified as town/scum yet. I could see myself getting a bit more heat in the next phase now that my "new player protection" is gone. Splinter is getting side eyed quite a bit I feel, but nin seems to be largely forgotten due to his absence at day end.

A secret vote will probably be most useful when there are still many/all of us around and there is not a consensus among town. I guess people will still want to know who votes for whom and will look for discrepancies in the final result but it will be much harder to track votes during the day unless some players demand that everyone should still use the highlight to state their intended vote in the thread.

I think Terra is off the table for a kill since he will probably be protected. Not sure what to make of Sorians claim, but I guess it also excludes him from the night kill. Faddy seems to paint quite the target on himself with his claim, maybe setting up a trap, but he basically did the same in GoT so he might also be hoping for protection which is now weakend due to Terra. I would classify those three as our main threats at the moment, but it may also be worthwile to go after someone else due to the risk involved with them. Maybe someone that is mostly town read at the moment.

I guess his role means that the one affected can only target someone that is in the same room. So if he stopped a mafia player that tried to kill someone in another room, that kill would be denied etc.

What about a kill on someone like Fireblend or Poltergust? I feel like neither of them drew much heat and the general vibes on both are pretty townie to me. Will read through again later for some general "townie but not really a big presence" type people later too.

And then for a track, still not sure, on mobile at the moment so I'm not looking at the player list, but yeah I'd think it would be worth putting on an under the radar player.

How do you feel about LP as a kill target too? The guy seems like he's very logical, and even though he might not post much, his reads and observations have actually been pretty good I feel like. Plus I don't think anyone would see that kill coming, and I think others are generally feeling the same way about him, which is a lean-town kind of feel.

I'm definitely not solidified as town in any way. I didn't really take any hard stances on anything, I just probed a little bit and didn't even put down a vote. I think I'll get somewhat of a pass for now, since I replaced in the day phase kind of late and melon did her thing there at the end, but it'll probably come up later at some point. I should be able to be more active from here on out though and actually steer things the way we want. I was stuck on mobile and had limited battery since that hurricane had our power knocked out for a few days.

As for who we should kill, I think that aiming for someone we're unsure about might be the better alternative here. The room mechanic does worry me and my first thought when seeing it was some kind of arson-type that's marking people in the rooms or doing something to them, so I'm somewhat concerned about that. My guess is someone is laying low and setting that up, and Blarg's quietness is so strange that I'm concerned about him. But that's really a wild shot in the dark, so I don't think we should necessarily kill him or anything right now.

Out of the people that we're considering to kill, I think it'd be okay to pass on LP for now. He's in that final surge of votes on B-dubs, and people are going to be looking into that in the future. It's important that Terra is still alive for that so they aren't sure it was town v town, so we should avoid him as well. I don't have a real preference between Poltergust and Fireblend, but I'm leaning towards Fireblend when reviewing their posts. I'm really unsure who we should track though. That's a bit harder to figure out and feels a little more like a shot in the dark IMO.

Well, I suppose Chuggernaut and ZippedPinhead would be other lower-activity players to throw out there for the Kill. I'm going to be heading over to a friend's house shortly (4-player Mario Party!!!) but I'll try to review the thread for some of those players later tonight, see if I can spot any bread crumbs maybe, and think of a target between them and Fire/Poltergust as well (though if Nin really doesn't want to shoot Fire then I'm fine with that too).

Speaking of bread crumbs, I don't know if everyone noticed, but I did drop a bread crumb for my fake "amnesiac cop" claim early on. I told Faddy I would try to "pretend I have amnesia" when it came to GoT. So I might actually try that gambit at some point later in the game, probably after we kill Terra, so I can say I figured I'd use my one-shot now that he was dead.

Also I agree with the track on Blarg, that's a good call. He's probably up to something.

And yeah, I hope you feel better soon nin, sorry to hear you're sick. :(

Ok, I got the chance to look back on some of the people we were talking about. I would still feel best about Poltergust or Fireblend personally. Zipped and Chuggernaut have both been odd enough that I feel there could be mislynch potential there. I think we should try going for people we doubt we could get in a mislynch, and right now, I would say that Poltergust and Fireblend fit that pretty well. Stan is another one I would maybe float out there.

However, Nin seems to not want to kill Fireblend, and Splinter seems to be against the kill on Poltergust. I'd definitely like to hear some more detailed thoughts on why you guys think they should not be killed yet and if you have alternatives in mind.

I do still really like Nin's idea of picking Blarg for a track target though, getting info on what the heck Blarg is up to is probably a good thing.

I figured the info didn't help much beyond being interesting, and it'd be easier to react to a reveal if you didn't know about it in advance. But on the other hand I don't want any mishaps ;)

Also I can give you some more insight into his townie thoughts I guess.

He seems to think I'm town, but is definitely aware of the possibility I could be scum.

I think he has no other powers - I implied I don't and he didn't correct me. Could just be playing his cards close to his chest.

He's mostly talked about the map mechanic. He'll be aiming for the least populated rooms in general. Shrug.

More interestingly, he doesn't believe Terra's cop claim. What do you all think about it?

As for Terra's claim, I don't see a reason to doubt it, but I'm coming at this from a Scum mindset too I suppose haha. If I were Town I could see me being a little suspicious but as long as he provides info in the thread today I would probably believe him.

So with that, I would probably want to target Fireblend personally. Nin did seem to be against that though, so I'd like to hear his thoughts on that. I believe Ketkat and Malus were both up for the Fireblend kill, so currently I guess that would make it 3-1 in favor of killing Fireblend. I definitely want to hear why Nin does not want to kill him though.

I also think Fire is a good choice. He got a soft town read and hasn't done much else, as far as I remember

I do not want to kill Fire tonight since he openly said that he was iffy about me.
Him being killed after that comment will just put more heat on me.
I don't mind the heat but no need to put on heat on me on day2. :p
