You are also a Watcherand will learn the name of any player that visited your target that night. You also have the ability to vote.

You win when you control a majority of the vote, when all non-Patriots have a bomb planted, OR when all non-Patriots are infected by FOXDIE.

You won't be late for this party. Each night you can PM the gamerunner the command PLANT: (NAME) to plant a bomb on a player. You are also a 1-shot Vote Bomb and once per game at night you can PM the gamerunner the command VOTE BOMB: (NAME) to turn your target into a vote bomb without them being informed. This means when they are voted out one player EXCLUDING your faction will be selected via RNG to die alongside the player being voted out. You also have the ability to vote.

You win when you control a majority of the vote, when all non-Patriots have a bomb planted, OR when all non-Patriots are infected by FOXDIE.

I’m going to number my posts and not explain why. I think we should go for targets at night that are actually kind of hard to hit. If we end up with a no kill night, I’ll claim I’m BP, lost my vest, and that I was numbering my posts to make scum think I had an important role. If I do actually get shot later and lose my BP, I’ll claim I had more than one and I only claimed one to get scum to waste another.

Ocelot is definitely a Neutral, wouldn't be surprised if he also has like 3 different win cons.

I suppose another faction might be like XOF or whatever, Skullface giving people vocal cord parasites or something.

Ah, actually, Big Boss and friends might be a second Scum team tbh. It's not like Big Boss was a good guy, that's Snake/Otacon and friends, who are probably Town.

Looking at the fake claims we have above, it seems like, similar to Death Stranding Mafia, common items are also flavor names for Town. So someone is probably the Cardboard Box for example.

I literally said to Loki the other day "I don't want to roll scum yet, I'll be deadweight, and they'll hate me for not doing voting stuff the way they do" but clearly the RNG had other ideas

I'm going to start off by being blunt though. I really can't engage with any of that scum voting pattern wagon splitting stuff. I know people seem to love that stuff, but I just can't. Even if I tried I'd just look awfully fake, and it would send up a signal flare to the admittedly small number of people who might have paid any attention to how I've voted in previous games.

I think my best shot is just to play how I usually do and hope the masses can cover for me.
And if that means at some point you all see me as a brilliant bus target, I'm going to have to accept that.

Seriously though, we have at least 2 BP vests and only 4 of us in a 28 player game. There's no way there's just some lone Neutrals running around on their own to make up the rest of the Town:Not Town ratio. It's either a Cult style faction, or a second Scum team, and my money is on second Scum team. I can easily imagine an Outer Heaven Scum team of like, Big Boss, Miller, and Huey.

So it would be like, The La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo (us), Outer Heaven (2nd Scum Team), Ocelot (Neutral), and the Good Guys (Town, as per the sample Role PM).

Okay I don't have a good flavor reason for this one. Sue me. Each night you can PM the gamerunner the command INFECT: (NAME) to infect a player with FOXDIE. When all non-faction players have been infected with FOXDIE your faction will instantly win. You are also a 1-shot Instant Infector and once per game at night you can PM the gamerunner the command INSTANT INFECTION: (NAME) to infect a player with a fast acting FOXDIE without them being informed. This means at the end of the upcoming day phase they will die. You also have the ability to vote.

(Also, if we don't, it's even more obvious that I'm right! Because of course the La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo wouldn't have a factional kill, they would be more covert about it, like our abilities allow for. But Big Boss? He'd just kill people to win, and use child soldiers if he had to!)

Ok, so we know that we don't have a factional kill.

This almost certainly means there is another team that does have a factional kill.

That team may or may not be a Big Boss Cult, but a Big Boss Cult definitely exists either way, I'm sure of it.

So we've got at least 2, and possibly 3 factions to worry about besides Town. I am also positive that Ocelot is a Neutral on his own, he just has to be.

This is a good thing though, because as mentioned above, it makes it easier to Scum Hunt when you know you aren't the only Scum team. Just keep that in mind, there will be other people being legit Scummy out there, because they are also Scum lol. So try to still vote for people you think are being Scummy, it could end up helping a lot with that sweet, sweet Town Cred™.

And as for some quick fake claim brainstorming, no need to consider this a final list or anything, just some early ideas based on those flavor names we got:

Mei Ling - Hmmm, probably some kind of motion detector, since she developed the Soliton Radar system.
Venom Snake - This would be good for a BP Vest claim.
D-Horse - Lol, something funny would be best for this one.
Paz - Tough one, maybe a Miller or something? Would need to commit to it real early to go down that path though.
Thermal Goggles - Watcher perhaps?

Honestly, I would feel... iffy? taking a prominent character as a fake claim.

Pending an ITAfest I expect my voteproof to be more visible than my bulletproof (... I probably just jinxed myself there).

If I claim it's going to be because I'm about to be voted out and it's the polite thing to do as town to warn my fellow townies they're about to blow their chance to get proper flip results by doing so.

They'll probably call my bluff but hopefully afterwards they'll stick me on the back burner for a bit.

This is good, yes lol. Also good point about Venom Snake, that's a conspicuous claim that will attract attention, probably best for the Godfather to handle it if anyone.

Wouldn't be a bad idea tbh. Liquid's crew (I'm almost certain this is the second Scum team's flavor btw) probably won't kill him tonight, and I highly doubt there is any counter to our FOXDIE, so if we want to make sure he dies as soon as possible, he would be a good target. Roleblocking might be unnecessary because that might just be bait talk from him, but making sure he dies soon is still worth it imo.

Chugg, man, I was just getting some bad vibes from him once he started going at it with Ty, and I didn't really like his Neutral speculations about Feign either, that whole sequence from him felt a bit forced and overplayed. I've been hardcore fooled by Chugg plenty of times, but I've also sniffed him out early too, so I don't want to let this slide if I'm on to something, I need to trust my instinct on that feeling and call it out.

I was about to come talk to Ephi in here too now that I quoted her lol.

We've been kind of quiet in here today, but we should def be talking about things as much as possible together, that's of course one of the main benefits of being Scum is being able to bounce things off your teammates and work together in the game thread.

Hmm, good quesiton, my PM specifically states that the person I give the Vote Bomb too won't be informed, but it doesn't make the same claim about the normal bombs.
