It depends if Skunk and Lightning have changed their thinking after the Alien flip.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for Boo to come clean. Douse scum, come clean, work with town, vote out the other scum, blow up the other one, badabing town and Boo win.

Yeah that sounds too good to ever happen.

Personal feelings aside, I think all parties played very well. Town made some good deductions and plays; it took them a minute, but scum successfully got their power wolf scheme going; and BooBeard’s only mistake was not solving the scum team, but has done a fantastic job surviving and murdering.

I agree with this. Town played well by catching mafia initially -- three in a row! -- but mafia had a great long term strategy which they're executing flawlessly. Boo is honestly shining as a new player in a costume game with a neutral role. Not an easy intro to a new community. I think mafia will be the only winners, but they'll deserve it if they do... still think there's a chance for town to pull it off though. You never know what new thoughts people will have over the night phase. There's always hope!

We should still give ourselves credit for it, IMO. They may have bussed, and this may have all been their master plan or whatever, but I refuse to believe that they weren’t at least worried a bit there. Also I want credit for getting Geno XD

I'm really salty about that post, HP. While some where defending the arsonist with their life, others were out there chasing scum.

Snack got Gnome to choke, that wasn't luck. Calling Char self-inflicted when I was hounding him all game is ... certainly a view point. Stan did great there convincing everyone. Sans was obvious and would be long gone too if not for the arsonist (ask Cat). The arsonist had a heavy anti town impact, swingy elements can be like that. Without him scum would be on the ropes.

I do want to say, on the D1 Alien/BooBeard situation: I do agree not getting BooBeard on D1 had a material impact on the outcome of the game, but the reason we did not get BooBeard on D1 is not because of Alien. We let Sans take control of the narrative with her push on Anthos, and there was less appetite for BooBeard in general. Scum had been pushing a power wolfing strategy from D1, and if they had made a more concerted effort with a different set of team members (i.e. more active ones), they would’ve been even more successful early on.

Additionally, while Alien’s defense of BooBeard did not have a great impact on the outcome of D1 imo, I think it did have a large impact on Alien’s long term credibility. I read Alien jumping in front of Boo as good ol’ town HP, but a lot of folks started looking at Alien sus or spinning a narrative that it was sus or just plain NAI. Regardless, people look at nervous play as suspicious; that seems to be our community meta to a certain extent, and that’s out of the hands of any one player - even though by and large, jumpiness is generally a town quality.

Anyway, that’s just my thoughts. Yes, if we would’ve got BooBeard on D1, town would be in a much better spot, but it’s not as though it was ever a binary set of circumstances that would’ve led to that.

Not guaranteed though Other players who know me or read Risk would assume there was Very little chance I would self heal.

maybe i should have healed myself since my Death is the Light bulb that immediately made me say San fran is scum

I probably have same lightbulb if There was no kill last night.

However San Fran proboly could have talked me out of it simply cause I am terrible at getting deep wolfs

It was always a 50/50 anyway not a huge deal. Good job scum team

I respect effort so much and the extreme effort Boobeard put in earned my respect and my town read.

Same to San Fran who I would never vote out before LyLo

Than goal was don''t self heal after that heal night 8( and send mass heal to rest of town just incase) in Lylo I would look hard at my town reads.

I just wish you didn't come back for day end yesterday. I could've maybe stalled out another day if you hadn't. That isnt your fault though. I'm fairly sure Pazzo was moving their vote either way though.

You played fine though. I feel like sometimes you just need to be more confident. And stop worrying so much about offending people! I like playing with ya so I hate to see you replace out every game.

Boo has Skunk doused so even if he thinks that’s scum, pushing there would not be good for him. Scum can’t push Sparks, so that leaves them with Neon, Skunk, and Boo, but is probably looking at only Neon, and the other scum members today. Too much heat and he’ll probably claim. Thinking they might end up offing Paz today but 1-1-1 final three is going to be a crapshoot especially with a neutral that has no path to winning.

As for input, and I think this goes for HP too on this page - don’t be so hard on yourself. I think you played very well, and you don’t have to apologize so much for things. Be more confident in your reads and plays.

It’s ok to get emotional too, I find myself in that spot more than I like. I’ve kind of learned to walk away from the game for a bit when things get like that. Otherwise, like I posted earlier, people start looking at you suspiciously. It’s an unfortunate truth.
