The door just swings open. At least there's still a deadbolt so I can lock it lolHow do you get in?
No, you need to stop assuming people understand what you are doing, and explain it in very small words. Because right now, i see scummy behavior and that’s it.San Franpsycho was my second strongest Townread after stealing Stan.
Ask yourself why would I vote her?
Its very obvious what i was doing.
But i doubt scum!alien would be so eager to jump into the conversation for a friend as town!alien would. No reason NOT to allow the behavior to inform reads after a flip.I
Know boo and alien are connected but remember they know each other Outside the game.
I would not assume they have the same alignment as aliens defense would still come exactly the same way if Boo was town.
Please post your current PoE in order of the order you want them killed. Unless you already did.Hi, I will be doing a poor LP imitation this phase. Don't have the time to participate that much. Direct questions and such are appreciated.
I dont see the downsides in jumping in to defend town. Alien looks great if Boo got voted out and the defense did not work. But i doubt scum!alien would be so eager to jump into the conversation for a friend as town!alien would. No reason NOT to allow the behavior to inform reads after a flip.
I was trying to manipulate the vote by purposely forcing a tie to see how players possibily react. Maybe scum who dont wanna lose 3 straight see an out to save woodsmanNo, you need to stop assuming people understand what you are doing, and explain it in very small words. Purposely *Tied votes in many previous games.I was trying to manipulate the vote by purposely forcing a tie to see how players possibily react. Maybe scum who dont wanna lose 3 straight see an out to save woodsman
If San Fran took the vote lead I would immediately switch my vote to Woodsman.
I have purposely tried votes in many of my mafia games this is how I play.

Nobody jumped to san after I tie the vote at 4 to 4 going by memory.Ok, who jumped to sans and when?
It’s also plausible they’re just the last scums.I dont see the downsides in jumping in to defend town. Alien looks great if Boo got voted out and the defense did not work.
I'm not saying this is what happened just saying its plausible.
Now THIS has hawthorn in Risk vibes lolNobody jumped to san after I tie the vote at 4 to 4 going by memory.
2 people switched to Woodsman (very late and very suspect)
I unvoted for a specific reason I cant go into.
What do you mean as a defensive move? If I was coming into that phase as concerned scum why go for a push that was going to be tough instead of going with something more commonly agreed on?Starting with whom I consider scummiest: Pazzo, Boo, Kook, Alien and then I'd need to re-evaluate a bit and consult my notes. Would love to have a stronger read on Snow C for sure.
I don't think any better of Pazzo for breaking the tie. I think that Woody was going to be the vote unless an absolutely mad swerve happened. I think Pazzo might've seen that Sans wasn't going to happen and took the chance to jump onto the bus. I feel that there is a chance that the Sans case was created as a defensive move, but I would need to read back and ain't much of that happening today
Godammit Pazzo my reason is good. Now THIS has hawthorn in Risk vibes lol
Fuck mobile posting is utter garbage, how do people do this willingly.
VOTE: Pazzo the Ghost Clown

What do you mean as a defensive move? If I was coming into that phase as concerned scum why go for a push that was going to be tough instead of going with something more commonly agreed on?
We will try our best :)If you're gonna vote me you all better win.
Your not dead yet.11 alive
Kill me today (presumably) + NK, another player gets doused tonight.
9 alive (2 scum) with 3 doused.
You need to make sure to get the Arsonist tomorrow no matter what.
Who’s the third? Doused?11 alive

9 alive (2 scum) with 3 doused.

The 3rd would be doused in the next night phase?Who’s the third? Doused?
Right, i understood night phase. The 3rd would be doused in the next night phase?
Yeah, the arsonist should douse lightning, it’s not like there’s a tracker or hoser [anymore]. RB should spend time looking for scum killer if there is any.Still would bet that Lightning is town but he sure is not making that call easy lol. Surely there are better targets though.
I just remembered that Neon might still exist. Huh, a half of my kingdom for a real computer.
Gotta bail, will drop by to offer some hot takes at some point.
Why am I getting thrown under the bus?Yeah, the arsonist should douse lightning, it’s not like there’s a tracker or hoser [anymore]. RB should spend time looking for scum killer if there is any.
Oh right, I thought we had two declared douses. My mistakeRight, i understood night phase.
We got tomorrow victim, snowC, and …….who??
Should be unflipped at the bottom thereThoughts before I go to bed in case you decide to turbo me/ you can look back on after I flip
1) I appreciate I kinda freaked out end of day yesterday but I'm not happy about the fact that I was jumped on for being nervous about a really crucial vote. I'm an anxious person and getting jumped on like that sucked. I've learnt my lesson though. I won't sign up for costume games in the future
2) all 3 scum specifically mentioned Pazzo and Sans - suspicious
3) none of the 3 flipped scum voted Boo Beard - also suspicious
4) worth looking into Pazzo, Lightning and both Snow's as the unclipped Boo voters - probably scum in there
Arsonist putting an accelerated clock on the game is why these votes feel crucial despite picking correctly 3 times in a row. What was so particularly crucial about the vote yesterday? I mean, for me it was (lol), but pre-flip no one knew the outcome and we’d just gotten scum two days in a row. Even if we were wrong, it wasn’t a terrible position.
You’re in my poe and i don’t want to waste a day phase on you, having a neutral murder you is great for me.Why am I getting thrown under the bus?
Also why do you think we have a RB? Just a guess?
I guarantee you I am one of the most solvable people in this game. me going up in flames will not benefit you. You’re in my poe and i don’t want to waste a day phase on you, having a neutral murder you is great for me.
and it’s an argument made to the serial killer, not a statement of how i think the game is designed.

Your statement contradicts itself. Asking the serial killer to flip you is the best way, trust me.@Captain Skunkbeard
I am not saying don't suspect me I am saying being in your POE is unnecessary. It might be a little hard but you can solve me without killing me.
I bet you $100 dollars it's not. Trust me.Your statement contradicts itself. Asking the serial killer to flip you is the best way, trust me.
I rather get Voted out by town or Night killed by Mafia than Let than burn alive to the arsonist.Your statement contradicts itself. Asking the serial killer to flip you is the best way, trust me.
I got 3 posts on my ass with a minute giving me crap for saying I was nervous about a vote. I never defended Woodsman. You’re not being jumped on for being nervous, you’re being scum read for defending scum. It’s a natural response to the flip of woodsman.
with regard to the arsonist, your math is off.
i haven’t felt your read posts were very informative on your own thoughts as they were far too summary of events. If you want to contribute, analyze the events in terms of what they mean and come up with reads from them.
Wait. Weren’t you the one consistently panicking over the arsonist? The arsonist might be putting an accelerated clock, but there's always a chance they'll hit scum. I don't think the situation's quite as urgent as it's made out to be

I agree with you that a shot in the dark is as good a place to start as any. I'm just tired of this Day 1 no vote discussion every game, sorry.
That said:
VOTE: Lightning Strikes
Lightning has barely posted and there's already some votes so I'll hop on this train for now.
I don't really like this vote. Nothing wrong with hopping on others trains, but if your only argument is the train itself existing it seems kind of lazy.
I can agree on the points about BooBears vote, but claiming ones identity seems really unnecessary. It's just another piece of information that doesn't need to be disclosed openly and is probably better kept secret. Pushing for others to reveal it doesn't sit right with me.
So first they were on top of your list, but then they weren't the most suspicious? Very interesting.
Hyde is on top of the list of players that defended Char, not on the list of suspicious players.
So potentially around 2-4 scum votes? I don't want to put my vote down on these right now. Instead I'd like to prod Woodsman to reply, they've been awfully quiet lately.
Vote: Woodsman
@Woodsman what do you think about this Gnome business?
I like Snack, Hyde, Frankenstein, Woodsman, Gnome and San Fran. They feel town leaning to me.
Baba Yaga hasn't posted much, and has been repeatedly called out. I would like to hear from them as well.
I'm suspicious of Char Gar but I don't want to vote them out today. They're kinda on their own.
If I had to slap down a vote right now it would Anthos.
VOTE: Anthos
Thanks gang for not voting me out Day 1. I really am a new player, I can claim my ERA username if you'd like, it won't change much.
Char was on an island Day 1 and seems to continue to draw some ire today. Gnome defending them is interesting, but could be nothing. I'm continuing to keep an eye on Char.
More suspicious is Ghost Bear, who "had to miss end of day" yesterday, and barely participated otherwise, only slapping down a No Vote and then quickly changing after getting called out. I'm getting scum coasting vibes.
I'm okay with the Gnome vote. We'll get some direction with the flip. Sorry if you're telling the truth, Gnome. I'm not gonna park my vote there for now because I'd like to see another wagon and not turbo.
I also want to hear from Char about his conversation with Tech.
Char Gar Gothakon:
-I've been suspicious of Char all game but with the recent revelations I'm okay with waiting on this one
Gnome:
-I thought town Day 1, leaned to unsure Day 2, now starting to think scum
Wait. Weren’t you the one consistently panicking over the arsonist?
4. You point out that scum were not on the BooBeard vote at all, but you don't seem to want to look into him further. Why is that exactly?
so town, much concernI'm gonna die so I don't really give a shit. But sure why not.
Vote:BooBeard

Actually if Char flips neutral, I'd like to take a look at Snow Creature, because he was another failed wagon on D2.
So as promised I looked back into end of Day 2 for connections with Char
From Snow Creature we have these posts
This one when it looked like Ghost Bear would be the only wagon.
But then once Char started to gain some votes he posts this:
This vote happened right after some votes were cast for CGG
Then we also have Pazzo discouraging the CGG train.
If Hyde hadn't died tonight, he'd be on top of this list.
Of the three Char defenders, I feel worst about Snow Creature so far.
I didn't like it when he claimed his identity in his first post and stating that secrecy around it would only benefit Scum. He later even amended that statement in the exact opposite direction. His vote on D2 is really strange.
This is a strange post to me. What is the appropriate reaction of a natural innocent town getting falsely accused?
This is also not a good look, now that we know CGGs flip.
He doesn't give a lot of reasons for his reads as well and it looks like he just follows where others are going.
I really don't know what to make of him. It all feels just a bit too obviously scummy.
D3 was going to be Gnome anyway. What's the point of voting a different wagon in that scenario? It's purely performative and serves no purpose. Similar for D4. After the bungled fake claim, there was no doubt that Char would be the vote of the day.
It took some time to get the woodsman train going with actual votes besides me and san.Like, it's possible that Woodsman pivoted away from bussing after losing 2 of his teammates, but if he made the case for Snow C. and we somehow jumped on it, things would just have turned right back around on him.
If I’m that concerned I just..kill Sans. That would take out one of the most vocal players AND make it much easier to defend then.Wasn't it Sans who pushed the case on Woody from the get-go? Gotta keep themates safe and all. Pushing a harder case also allows you to fall back to this defense, it is a good scum play to go for the harder case since it is more authentic.
Better start playing soon, I think there is every chance that I get killed by scum before your confirmed ass does.
Are you meaning anyone who ever voted Boo I take it?Thoughts before I go to bed in case you decide to turbo me/ you can look back on after I flip

I feel like yesterday had some of the most vote moving late in the day so imo there will be some meat to digest thereWhat was so particularly crucial about the vote yesterday? I mean, for me it was (lol), but pre-flip no one knew the outcome and we’d just gotten scum two days in a row. Even if we were wrong, it wasn’t a terrible position.
Oh, yes, it's crucial for info. But in the moment... meh. It was not that dire. And again, I have literally the most immediate interest here lol. We have done really well. I don't understand the urge to paint that any other way, but y'all do you, I guess. I don't think it's really that important in the end. It just stuck out to me, but apparently it was universal, I dunno.I feel like yesterday had some of the most vote moving late in the day so imo there will be some meat to digest there
Oh yeah, I don’t know that it’s critical in that sense we’re doin alright. I do think we need to get the arsonist before another ignite - it’s shaky ground because we don’t know what conditions they’re under. We’re probably okay today, as Alien said we probably should pop them by EOD tomorrow though. If another multikill night happen that might be no bueno. I’ll try and check tomorrow when I’m not drinking tooOh, yes, it's crucial for info. But in the moment... meh. It was not that dire. And again, I have literally the most immediate interest here lol. I like your idea re: arsonist and voting. So many people are hesitant to put down votes on the daily it feels like (every game; not just this game) so I might just search for discussion of the doused.
It took some time to get the woodsman train going with actual votes besides me and san.
Do you think scum caught on to how much of a lost cause he was?
Imma be real - Alien doesn’t feel engaged enough to be the arsonist based on the targets. Good targets so far honestlyIf Alien's miscount was not constructed, it pretty much means he's not the arsonist. I did a little internal WIFOM with this, wondering: was doing a count and timeline of when we need to kill the arsonist both good busywork AND a way to fake a clear? but it feels like such a reach. It felt silly to think it and sillier to type it. So I feel relatively okay saying Alien is probably not the arsonist, at least.
Yeah arsonist is on top of there game while scum have been playing pretty bad.Imma be real - Alien doesn’t feel engaged enough to be the arsonist based on the targets. Good targets so far honestly
Nobody is interested in Pazzo (and to be honest I feel like I probably honed in on the wrong person here) so I'll move, happy with a Woodsman Vote, not so sure about Kook.
Through my looking through the two scum's posts Sans stuck out so I'm going to vote here for now.
Vote:San Franpsycho
Preventative, and only that night?During the night you can use the command Hose Down: <Player> to prevent that player's costume from being doused that night.
I mean the obvious answer is because they DIDN'T want to lose three teammates in a row lol

Cleary my misgivings about his bussy actions having no followthrough making little sense and being unwilling to believe I fell for yet another one were wrong.Would love to hear more from the hesitant Woodsman voters about why they didn’t think he was a good vote even though no one really caped for him.
This is exactly where I'm at. Like please, Alien, if you're town then put up a fight. You're not helping yourself or us.I was hoping you'd have talked yourself out the just-kill-me-s during the night phase.
I was actually inclined to townread your blow up last night because I've seen you pull that before as town and I don't think it's something it would be your first instinct to fake, but damn you are not making it easy when a third scum death in a row would be a valid reason for frustrated scum to blow up too.
A vote does not a case make.
Yeah, I was one of the first people to mention that I didn't think it made sense for scum to setup a bus and then back off at the ideal time to bus. Honestly it still doesn't make a ton of sense lol Woodsman would've been better off sticking to the path he set down.Cleary my misgivings about his bussy actions having no followthrough making little sense and being unwilling to believe I fell for yet another one were wrong.
Not sure if anyone else was quite as stupid. To my recollection Pazzo expressed similar misgivings about his followthrough at one point? And of course Lightning said he felt better about him but said he wanted him dead anyway.
Snow Creature's breakdown was largely what made me get over myself and see sense there so that's solidified Creature as someone I'm feeling pretty good about.
I think the push on Woodsman, and eventual flip is the best argument in favor of Sans. It would have been a bus that started D4 while scum were already aware they were about to lose a second member back to back, and Sans decided "ah yes, lets go for the hat trick" by opening up D5 with a push on Woodsman, despite having plenty of reasons to continue down the path of Kook for instance (the last player Sans had cased and voted for D4 iirc). It really only works if you think scum super bussed for cred and assumed they were going to lose a third D5 regardless. If you think there's hope to weasel out you probably don't bus right after losing two members.Uh, don't know how much I can be around today (as in literally today, not the day phase). I'll try to get some thoughts down - currently in two minds of whether to hone in on Sans or look at one of my blindspots in Kook or Neon.
Someone talk me down off the Sans edge because after Pazzo's argument yesterday I can't stop thinking about it.
This is exactly where I'm at. Like please, Alien, if you're town then put up a fight. You're not helping yourself or us.
I'm doing a reread now and will look out for what Sans has to say about Woodsman on D4. Were they against them from then? Me and San were on the ground floor of honing in on Woodsman. I was pushing there since day 3 and San by at least early day 4.people were honing in on that idea for a while
Okay, thank you. I'll keep that in mind.Me and San were on the ground floor of honing in on Woodsman. I was pushing there since day 3 and San by at least early day 4.
You can read it as good town read or bus attempt but recognize we were the key players that made the push happen.

I'm pretty sure she started in on him D4 unless my memory is just completely hosed. The theory held a lot more water with me before the Woodsman flip, especially with how the day ended. If you're mafia setting up a bus on a teammate, all to protect the arsonist, first that's wild and dedication, but also I wouldn't have expected the day end scramble. You would be much more likely to just fully commit. I'm pretty sure I said last phase I didn't love Woodsman's play, but that I didn't think he was a likely scummate with Sans - and since at the time Sans was my top scum read that's where my vote went. Ultimately with the vote flurry near day end I couldn't ignore that it felt like an effort to derail the Woodsman wagon. Just makes it harder for me to believe it was scum vs scum there. That would mean mafia was dedicated to a bus and the vote flurry was either just a fluke from all town or a great fucking smokescreen. Especially with Woodsman being a goon - that would make him the best one to bus most likely. So why the vote movement at EOD? Once I get to doing the vote analysis hopefully that paints a better picture.I'm doing a reread now and will look out for what Sans has to say about Woodsman on D4. Were they against them from then? If so, that's a good point.
On Kook, was it not you that threw out the theory that Sans might want to keep Kook alive as the arsonist. Thoughts on that now? In fact, you put a case against Sans yesterday, does none of that ring valid for you anymore after yesterday?
My alternative take is that Woodsman's days were numbered - people were honing in on that idea for a while. What better time for a bus? But I might be overestimating how much heat Woodsman was getting from others at that point.
I agree with basically every part of this post. Finally read kook, ok I get it now.

wrong quoted post Congrats on finding all the right keys to make your correction.www.outermafia.com
if actually mafia and not neutral that post is very funny.
she was jumping down snow creature’s throat like geno, defended char And woodsman in a quietly deflecting way before they died, and has agreed with alien that they would NEVER offer themselves as a sacrifice on d1 if they were mafia. Arsonist was playing scum-aligned in early game. Now she’s seeming more cooperative with town, just….like….the arsonist….maybe.
flipping her is fine with me. I think we also need alien. Arsonist could douse pazzo and please me personally, he’s been waffling again [in my estimation, not necessarily in his gameplay], also he’s seemed to be connected with kook imo. Her mafia flip would make him look bad.
i don’t see alien as neut, only possible mafia.
