I think it will be hard for LP to win just because he's alone, which means he needs to reduce town to only 1 other person, and you have VA, Zeke and Ty which are all somewhat confirmed. At some point LP will be the weakest link and will be voted out.

I gotta say though it will be a spectacular win if he pulls if off, especially considering his flavor is all about remaining undetected in the shadows haha

Ah not that impressive - I posted that after we saw Ephi die. Figured Fate was the night kill following EC and Leo mentioned Fate disrupting so the only real other night action left is the night kill.

It's getting more likely to be fair. I thought BoJack <> Sneeks and Zeke <> Ephi would trust each other enough to hone on to LP eventually, but Ephi is gone (dead woodchuck gang unite) and Sneeks and Zeke are open to BoJack.

A sequence like:
1. Vote Wee, kill Fate (Zeke gets rich)
2. Vote Bojack/Sneeks, Kill VA/Ty
3. Other half of the above pairs

looks kinda plausible?

Will get to day 10 with LP, Launch and Zeke. Launch will outrich Zeke and win (he could always kingmake otherwise)
Main challenge is Zeke might vote Launch out early since he sees this coming. Could keep Fate around to kingmake with, but that's even more obvious to town.

Sneeks caught the post... but just used it for reinforcement on scumread HP. I think if town take their PoE and look at confirmed scum interactions within than PoE they might find something, but if they just get confirmation bias on heavily foreshadowed candidates like wee they might lose this one.

Now that I'm out, it's all I want, since activity seems to be waning.

It's kind of boring to watch, but even if there's low activity I think it's good to give people time, particularly all the replacements. 24 hours is surprisingly short when you factor in work/sleep/possible after-work obligations, it can end being only like 2-3 hours of actual free time.

Yeah, I think someone dinged me on day one or said I was scummy for not being present enough/ for posting my takes by summarising stuff I had missed and not as they happened but sometimes thats the only way you can be present or comment on something, despite the day phase length. Especially if you're out of sync time zone wise. Some times when I'm in a game I feel like I'm in the thread for hours and no one else is around then I go make dinner or do something with the fam and miss a ton of activity lol if the day phase was only 24 hours I feel like I'd miss everything

Yeah, in f3 he will have a problem, but paranoia is a funny thing and LP is very, very good at telling people what they want to hear. I don't think he has a real path to victory here, but he's someone who could find it if there is one and he'll handle the horror of trying to get there well. All recognition to him here is all I'm saying. I think LP's underrated all the time and I find myself carrying that flag weirdly often, but like... it's earned. The man has skills.

The fun thing town is just like "gee thanks Launch that's really helpful, I wanna look at wee too" basically just taking it all at face value.

So if you did have a scum ninja, wouldn't some other scum be the one to claim sleepwalker or am I missing something there?

The common POE seems to be down to wee, BoJack and Sneeks. Get all those down and succeed in as many night kills, and you have yourself a final three. Can even win if you night kill the right folks and Launch manages to leave the game. Oh but that's not how this is going to go, since they'd end up with Launch playing the kingmaker.

Vote out wee, BoJack and Launch. Kill VA, Ty (could also gamble with both and leave one for the final three and hope that they do not dare go against their long-established reads) and... who? Comes down to picking the patsy and the victim. Could go Sneeks and Zeke and hope that Zeke's tunnel is everlasting and Sneeks hasn't fully cleared Zeke in her mind either.

Yeah Bojack has had a really good game honestly. I think where the town PoE is at is sadly going to deny him making it to the end but he's put in some killer reads and posts most day phases after warming up. The material he leaves behind on a green flip could make or break a town victory also, which is why I'm always for folks putting down everything regardless of how helpful it might seem or not. Just get it out there,.

Bojack is crushing it. Really stellar play.

They are so hung up on mechanics overall, though. Trees for the forest kinda deal. And LP will sit quietly as they mechanic themselves to death and assume he’s clear. Hate to see everyone putting in work like this, especially late game, while knowing it’s built on bad assumptions.

I can see where town is coming from, in that LP hit it pretty lucky being both recruited AND green checked— pretty much the best case scenario for his role. He’s also played great though— I definitely think he can make it

I feel bad about the Bojack votes because I helped open the door for that evil :(

The worst thing is not knowing where I'd have ended up today given the choice between the two of them, because I know I was pretty deep in that tunnel myself.

But it is killing me to see people just not even consider LP because of the check/recruit wombo combo.

I appreciate some people in the game and spec wanting the game to be over but for the players that are highly engaged and still solving/trying to get away with murder in LP's case, imo it's important they get unwind time away from the game between phases. Shortening the actual day phases is one thing (and a totally fair way to speed things up) but cutting their rest time is a good way to burn folks out (nightless lol). If I were alive rn, I'd probably like 24 hours to not think about the game whatsoever, especially after that flip lol.

I'm pretty convinced Launch knows it's LP by now and is buying himself time while pretending to help town haha good play, I have to say. He probably wouldn't have a chance if he chose to fake claim as town

LP has done a great job fooling everyone else. I hope town takes my warning to heed and doesn't just go into a wee and Launch back-to-back vote, otherwise they put themselves in a super bad spot.

There was enough interest in LP today that I can see some people coming round to my idea after my flip. So there's still a good chance!

I would point out that town had a bunch of informational powers.
Naturally a four man scum team needs counters if they have any chance of survival.

Town had like a billion investigative powers, if scum couldn't counter that, we would just be handing the scum team on a platter. And a neighbor chat isn't a safe space by definition, that's masons chat. The neighborhood was alerted they couldn't post their role PMs.

I think what you need to realise, Shirou, is that you've accepted the comments about how unlikely it was, but those comments were by the scum team. You've been gaslit.

I don't consider the role to have crossed any lines. I was perfectly capable of including him in POE despite there being a check and despite sitting in a chat with him.

I just, sorta, died.

I'll learn from that and stop assuming I'm somewhat safe in future :P

I assume either Gladstone's inheritor needs to die or Launch needs to survive long enough to commute again to have more money than Fate had yesterday (which was a sum he did not reveal, but started with a 5, the same figure Launch now claims to have).
