Neato. Didn't notice that.D1 lynch was mafia, also an inactive player with almost no posts
Yes i did explain it.
Oh, I forgot, I can talk about this now - when Dusk asked if the roles were selected for us instead of RNGed, I reacted because I hollered at Ouro as soon as I saw my role PM with much the same reaction. If Ouro's trying to "torture us" or whatever, this is the perfect role for me because I second-guess myself constantly and allow myself to be swayed by others. So an override? Makes sense. Why would Dusk think that, then? What's his perfect role?
May be a small thing, but worth thinking on.
Quoting all these together because I think this is a possibility and not just because of CCS, though that would feed in, but also because if there's another inactive or less active in scum, pushes would be hard or too obvious, making it difficult to pull off.
Sorian, I don't think it's feps. God knows I could be wrong but I'd call Kark before feps, long before. I'm 50/50 on nin at the moment.
I'm awake.
You love talking about tunnels, Sorian. Think about the one you've been in. Tell us about that. More, tell us what my flip teaches you about the game. More, tell me about why you don't want to pursue the CCS train today. There is no way there's not scum on that train. As in, literally no way.
Faddy, I don't understand your logic at all. There's no scum on the Kawl lynch therefore Sorian can't be scum? Something about if there is bussing then Sorian can't be scum? Literally no comprendo.
Worm, the two more scum thing was a mistake. I think sorian pointed it out right after i said it too.
You're assuming there are no inactive scum. You're assuming scum votes weren't already tied up on the second train.
What do you suggest scum were doing? Voting sorian?
The only way that happens is if heymonkey and Sorian are scum together, which is what Kark was pushing at the start of the day but backed off because he realised it was dumb.
Why did Nin and Kark split their votes d1 instead of saving kawl? Why did scum both lead into a wagon rather than create one?
I see where you're coming from, but I'm not convinced. Food for thought. I guess the million dollar question is: who do you think is best lynch?
This is where we're misunderstanding. I haven't backed off of that idea at all.
Set the monkey override aside for now. Sorian was on a well-deserved vote majority yesterday, and we need to get back there. There's nothing the override told us that changed the reasons behind that vote.
What I'm trying to say is that you can't lynch them both today, so I'm focusing on the more central person.
CCS v Sorian is 5v3
Looks like one trained gained momentum to me...
Enough to tie Kawl and then force to either bounce off kawl or ccs or for other sorian voters to choose between those two. And it isn't like tying the vote is a scumtell provided there is reasonable time for people to adjust accordingly. Not enough to overtake Kawl though. And if scum were reading my posts closely they would be nervous I would switch from CCS.
Okay, so after having gone through the entire thread I feel that I will start with:
VOTE: Sorian
I actually kinda agreed with his day 2 obsession over the killing of Kawl being dumb luck on an inactive, but his subsequent posts just did not sit right with me.
People I will keep my eyes on for various reasons:
El Topo
Faddy
Dusk
I gave reason for Sorian as I voted him, and it would be weird not to.You give a small reason for Sorian and none for the others. Care to share?
nin who would you lynch today?
Inactives
Outside of this safe space I would probably go for either Nomadic and or Hey monkey.
Also, we'll see if Dusk comes back.
VOTE: nin1000
I don't like that vote for inactives comment and at the end of the day, I do agree that scum is likelier to be in the CCS vote.
Let me show the way then.
VOTE: Nin1000
Blarg is making some shifty movements in the last two minutes, no doubt inspired by monkey. It's unclear what Sorian would've/could've seen here - Blarg had been voting CF since T-8 minutes to eod, but he didn't start shifting until T-2, and Sorian shifts tracks at T-1. We also get Cabot voting Sorian at T-2 right before Blarg's shifting.vote: nin1000
Let's see what happens
VOTE: CrimsonFist
Yeah, no.
Should have followed monkey, this is as dumb as voting Kawl yesterday.
I'm awake.

Not going to quote Worm's post since I just have a question on a single line, but why are you asking about what I could've/would've seen?
Just so you know, i did a spit-take IRLYour flip is the only one that ties to someone else...
In the last 30 posts... 1 vote.So how many lazy votes does that make after Terra's?
(Vote count please)
In the last 30 posts... 1 vote.
I wouldn't necessarily class it as lazy either but meh
Neato. Didn't notice that.
It's late here, please be so kind and link to the post where you explain your vote for Crimson. Thanks.
Is this relating to Crimson only, or both Sorian and crimson?
If both, why had not looked into Sorian?

No, that is Kark's question.
What's your read on Crimson and Topo?
Just so you know, i did a spit-take IRL
You and Mo--oh damn.
More links, don't worry. Keep pulling the sweater. I'm at work now and won't have time to really engage for a few hours.
But I want to say that I object to this idea of sharing reads as being scummy. Kark and I share some reads. That isn't a link. Lynching one of us does not indicate alignment of the other. Especially without knowing your alignment. When you flip scum we both look great.
How are you counting our posts?vote: nin1000
Kyan was there, I ended there, and Blarg was there before I overrode - it's where he stopped, and since he didn't seem to be doing it for nefarious purposes, I'll sit here a bit and see how it feels. nin has been largely absent, making some noise when here but not seemingly paying much attention to the thread. Also, I did some counting of the remaining players on posts since this phase started.
Dr. Worm, El Topo, Faddy, cabot, Sorian, flatearthpandas, Karkador, and I are all pretty active. Ty4on and Terra get a pass as they've just replaced (but have already outposted the people they replaced).
However:
Dusk Solider: 2
nin1000: 3
Nomadic: 1
^^these people are not here. nin, in fact, has been consistently not here throughout the game. Same with Dusk. They roll in, do a bit of a drive-by, vote, and roll out. Dusk, this seems typical. nin, less so. Add this to his votes, the things he's gotten wrong in the thread so far, and for now, going into the last day of the phase, here I am.
Yeah, I find it hard to believe scum would use an override this early in the game.
So confused at this.
Why waste a power like that on blarg?
vote: Sorian
Nothing that's happened since yesterday has changed my mind there.
Sorian and monkey's reactions to blarg-gate haven't really eased my concerns.
We don't have enough information to make that call.
It might seem implausible for scum to have all these powers together, but town may be packing quite a bit of tools themselves.
We also have to consider that the game may be plain unbalanced in scum's favour, or that town doesn't have the proper coordination to make use of the tools they've got.

Faddy was making the case that scum team having both a lynch bomb and an override would be game breaking balance wise.Well you say in your first post you cant see it as scum and in the subsequent two you throw shade and argue you can't actually read the override as town.
So yeah.
Game balance discussion especially doesn't mean much when you've used it to convince people Town Hooker was a plausible thing.
I've stated numerous times, your flip answers more questions than others right now
Meanwhile, an ability that lets scum control an entire day phase with no repercussions. Uh huh.
So what does it answer when I flip town? You seem to have created a whole narrative for if I'm scum but you've said very little about a town flip.
That has happened.
We've got 10 hrs left. How long are you gonna be up?
i cant see a role more powerful than one that allows 2 night kills on a lynch.
That's a waste of a power on Day 1 when Town vastly outnumber scum and there are protective roles in play.
explain to me the usefulness of bussing a lynch bomb on Day 1 then subsequently undoing all the town goodwill by overriding to save a scum mate on day 2
Here, at least, we agree. I see where feps is coming from and where he's going. Kark is weaving and because I know where I stand, it's actually done the opposite of what he intended and made me think you might be town. But I still don't trust you - or rather, I trust your ability to say the best thing at the best time to make yourself look clean.I think I may be voting for the wrong one of the two. At least FEP is following a consistent train of logic.
Still curious how I'm sheeping reads when I started the train on you d1 and d3 but w/e. I don't think right now kark is sheeping either. There's a difference between sharing reads and sheeping reads.
And what happens when I flip town? Because I recommend you take a step back and think about that now.

If you flip town, I would go after next scummiest on CCS votes. I mentioned earlier that would probably be nin.
Day one I idly considered blowing it immediately to get Sorian out of the way. Activity levels changed my mind and I figured I'd keep it in my pocket until a need arose.
My thought process is generally pretty transparent; I've been open about these feelings, at least, in the thread.
That's frustrating to read lol.Day one I idly considered blowing it immediately to get Sorian out of the way.
Did you consider me on Day 2?
No. I never considered using it on you at all. Sorian/Blarg/wait were my thoughts.
Why do you think I would have considered using it on you or anyone else I did not mention?
Why don't they sit right, what exactly is it you're scumreading?
Also who are your top Town?
Topo seemed kinda aggro from what I have read. Not nessisarily a scum tell , just a point of interest.
Faddy kinda seems to flip flop quite a bit. One moment he's trying to Lynch Sorian the next he's defending him for example.
Dusk is purely gut at the moment.
Are you ready for Part 2
Yeah, this is just nonsense, Blarg.
VOTE: Blargonaut
Sorry had a busy day. Had to pick up new phone then go to school and now I have to get the phone activated and eat dinner.I was expecting Ty to jump in the thread by now, he's #teamEurope after all.
That is why Topo dropped a vote on Blarg out of nowhere yesterday; to make him eligible for the override. AND THAT EXPLAINS such an illogical choice of override that monkey has not justified well.
Part 2
I don't think hey_monkey's Governer role lets her freely choose override targets. She has to choose among those who have an active vote at the end of the day.
You are off the rails with your conspiracy shit, man. I mean you are just making stuff up with no basis whatsoever, raw conjecture to confirm what you think you know. That is why Topo dropped a vote on Blarg out of nowhere yesterday; to make him eligible for the override. I actually have answered that first question:
You are off the rails with your conspiracy shit, man. I mean you are just making stuff up with no basis whatsoever, raw conjecture to confirm what you think you know.
nin was never going to be my final vote yesterday. I didn't even use final-vote language. I don't even know if he's my final vote today. Once I decided to override, what reason did I have to change my vote? Why would I bother? I was in the car coming back from the symposium. Voting is hard enough on mobile without shifting votes and trying to pull off a command in twilight.
