Alright, so I’m probably dead here so here’s some fun info. I started out as infected and I’m sure there’s more than one Thing. Nat was not on my team so my best guess is that we got split up at the beginning regardless of votes. Wanted to work with them, but I’m pretty sure it’s either them or us. I don’t know if this is actually winnable as town even with the triple tests days. The numbers just don’t really work out that way. So I would get ready to become one with one of the Things. I tried to recruit Ambulance last night and failed so that’s probably a good place to look if Rando is telling the truth. I’m not really good at good byes so see you later alligator

OK thoughts:

Hopefully after Ambulance goes that I get to be the Thing (well assuming becoming The Thing doesn't take away my picking chat partner ability) but it might follow the recruitment order and go to Blarg next.

Right now I am targeting Hawthorn, figure it's good to get the watcher out of the way. After that we can go after Random (who either can't self heal or lying about his targets) or take a shot at other unclaimed to see if there is a cop. I did tell ATP and Zipped that I wondered if I was a quasi cop which is why I kept quiet about Chugg staying.

For my active power its going to be situational. I won't hesitate to hydrocannon with it but also if we just need to buy a day then it's going to buy us a day.

Ghosting would kind of make sense. If he has a shot he'll shoot you but if he doesn't then it's 50/50 whether his command requires a target or applies just to whoever is partner is.

Ambulance infected Nat, Blarg, and Chugg in that order. Vere and I were random(?) infects on N4 after the power outage. Only The Thing infects, which is currently Blarg, and neither Ambulance or Blarg can direct who they chat with. I have a passive where I can choose who I chat with tonight and an active to override the day and force a test.

Can you force today into a single test of your choice? If you can, I think it must happen. We'll have to see what happens of course, but Blarg is gone and Vere could get it too. Once Blarg gets it, the contact tracing bs (ffs it is real why) gets me on the following day.

Yes, I can force test anyone and end the day there. Already confirmed it with the mods that as the station commander my command will override the triple test.

If I end the day early they have to take their time getting Blarg, Kyan, me, and whoever Blarg infects tonight. Meanwhile Vere stays somewhat hidden and hopefully he can build up a crew from there. Obviously if there is another multiple day test we are screwed but also we're kind of screwed either way.

I think I have to pop it but want everyone to chime in before I do. I'll test Random to block him for the night and then chat with Maol to maybe cause some confusion with him.

A lot of WIFOM involved, that's true, but we need to think about if it's worth recruiting him if you end up becoming THING prime. This 4 test day is such a kick in the shins though. I don't see how we reasonably muddle through this.
