Battleship is basically luck. My strategy for that one, if we get to place our ships, is to cluster most of them together on one part of the board and then leave a tiny ship on the complete opposite side. It seems to work more often than not. At least, it did against my ex lmao

Ok I'm probably going to crash before too long but put this together real fast to help us out:

P for Parts, which is what we need to find
K for Kerosene which town needs to find
K with an X through it for the kerosene that we found and destroyed
X marks a spot where there were no items

They advertised this as Battleship so we might need to anticipate Battleship rules. If so we would need to go down one spot from our P to get another P. Might also need to block the common office and the greenhouse or map room.

Taking away one of their kerosene's does not give us points but prevents them from scoring that point so we are currently down 2-1.

Nice one Hedin! I kind of feel like this is going to take a while to get going. I know by the time my turn comes up again I might be asleep.

@Zippedpinhead @AllThingsPurple I see the timer for one game, what happens if battleship still isn't finished by then?

Seeing how we have a shot to win compared to how things looked at day start yesterday I'm counting this as a .5 win already. The trivia contests I'm worried about but also we can coordinate in here some when town can't so maybe that will give us a slight advantage.

the map has numbers on it, it is divided into three sections of six rooms

maybe each section has a number of parts in it for both teams?

might want to check rec room, it might be special

These all are rooms that we've been in during the nights, but I don't see an obvious connection between them and the items.

I was in Map Room / Sleeping Quarters / Kennel / I don't remember. Bunked with Nat (c) / Vere (t) / Blarg (c) and Hawthorn (t).

I was in the Kitchen with Chugg and that's where Ambulance and Chugg were too so maybe there? If it's our go I will be at work in 30 and can make a pick.

That was my next idea too: could it be the ratio between town and cult who have been sleeping in the rooms? Mostly cult: our items. Mostly town: town's items. Place eight items into as many rooms, leave the rest empty.

I dunno.

The map is apparently a board game board so it might just be for convenience and maybe the numbers mean nothing.

Ok here, traffic was bad. Kitchen or poke around in section 1 since nothing has been found there yet? Could also try the Greenhouse just to potentially block them. I'm leaning maybe something in Section 1.

Also, pet theory is that however many games we win is how many new infected we get overnight.

I think it's just what the rules say: one team must win all of the four games to win. The first was a tie so we get to play battleship again.
